My favourite 2D Mario Lego set

I like how it's able to move and I feel as though I am engineering a real 'machine.' It also makes a really cool piece of decor for the house! And it's a piece of interactive art as well! Super fun!

Dissapointed Lego Fan

I was extremely disappointed when I received the Lego Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi Nintendo Figure and the box had been opened and taped back together. Do you not understand that these Legos are collector’s items?! No one wants to receive a Lego that has been opened. Thanks, but no thanks. I returned it.

Fun Technical Build; Awesome Mechanics!

This is my first technic build of any kind in Lego, and the build was just so enjoyable. I will note that you have to be super attentive to detail with technic, because misplacing even by one stud can mess up the motion elements. Speaking of which - the movement features you build in the set during construction are fantastic! So much fun to play around with and pose Mario and Yoshi. Absolutely loved seeing the pixels come together in the sprite art of the two characters - would recommend to anyone as an excellent value.

An amazing retro product

I built this set over 3 days, and I felt something throughout every step. Every single little Technic arm and link cleverly guided me how each part of the set functioned, and it was extremely gratifying seeing the final model moving with Mario atop Yoshi's back, his cape flowing thanks to more clever mechanics, the whole assembly slightly hopping up, and being able to pop Yoshi's iconic tongue out just like in all of his games.

A super extraordinary Build

My mother got this for me as a birthday gift, and I couldn't be more happier!! As someone who has played Super Mario World before, this is just so spot on! The build was really nice, and the details from the hill to the cape to the 2 main stars is really satisfying! The build took me 5 hours overall, but honestly, I do not regret a thing! I enjoyed this, I love the nostalgia, and I love the build, and honestly, I do hope there's another set like this in the future! Go check it out!
