Great Starter Set!!
This is our third starter course set of the series! I am just so happy that it keeps my son busy using his mind and keeping from spending the day watching TV or on electronics! If your kids like Mario this is a must buy set!

Fun concept, underwhelming overall
My 9 year old was drawn to these because Mario and Lego are two of his favorite things however he was less than impressed by the simple builds and simple app. It’s a cute idea but well stick to the more complex builds and Mario Nintendo games.

Not safe for eyes
Caution: The Mario Character Bluetooth laser light emits an extremely intense beam, causing eye damage and headaches. I compared it to my Lego Duplo Bluetooth Town Steam Train's laser, which is significantly weaker and also reads QR codes but does not cause intense head pain. Due to safety concerns, I do not recommend this product for any children.

I just like Lego! Most of what they make is pretty awesome! And I also like most things Mario! So this is a no brainer for me! The only gripe I have is. I wish Lego would make a Super Mario Sunshine set!

My kids love these legos
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In got this set for my son and he loves it, he will actually sit there and focus and follow the steps to build each thing, he just turned 9 so the only other thing he will focus on Is a tablet, so this is better for being more physically active and uses he imagination while playing, he love how this set comes with other characters and how the main character interacts with the different colors and sticker spots, he absolutely love this as well as his siblings

It was fairly easy for five year-old and the colors were very vibrant. It kept him engaged. The pieces are very durable. He was able to play with the toys without them breaking apart. He has added Mario legal set in his collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kiddos (ages 6 &8) are fans of both gaming & Legos, and this interactive Lego Mario set was right up their alley! My 8 year old did the majority of the building but it is also a great starter set for any Lego newbies. Lego does a great job of packaging the sets and splitting them into numbered baggies. This is really helpful for kids to stay organized and to not get overwhelmed with tons of Legos in front of them to sort through. This specific set came with a booklet of instructions, but they are also available on the Lego Mario app, which my boys prefer, as it is more interactive. They started this set after dinner and had it finished in under 2 hours, which included some playing along the way. My son's favorite thing about this set, in their own words, is the "boss", aka Bowser Jr in the clown car. They quickly learned how to pick up coins along the way and defeat Bowser Jr. I really like that these Lego mario sets can all connect with each other and we can connect this one to the ones we already own. Another hit out of the park for Lego!

Great addition to the Mario sets
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves Nintendo and he loves Lego, this set it part of a larger collection of Nintendo and Mario themed sets. We got the starter set awhile ago, so this is the perfect addition to the collection. The Mario makes sounds just like in the video games, when you are hitting the blocks or jumping. It’s a great addition to the whole collection. Some of these are quite expensive, so collecting them little by little, lets you set up a whole display of Mario/Nintendo. It’s great.

The interactive features are super neat and were easy for them to set up. They work perfectly with my iPhone and are really neat. I sure wish I had something like this when I was a child.
