Description
This MEINL Byzance Crash Cymbal Pack delivers the modern, versatile sounds need. This pack combines a 16" vintage trash crash and an 18" vintage sand thin crash—both developed with input from Benny Greb. The 16" trash crash's sandblasted surface tones down harsh frequencies and stick attack, giving a soft, mellow and transparent sound with dry, relic-like characteristics. Meanwhile, the 18" sand thin crash's hammering, sandblasting and lathing processes allow to dig in with total control without overpowering kit or band. These hand-hammered cymbals are crafted in Turkey from 100% cast B20 bronze—combining traditional cymbal-making methods with modern sound requirements to offer a wide dynamic range that fits comfortably in just about any style.
