This bottle would’ve been my second purchase as this has been my favorite oil. Unfortunately, when I opened the bottle I realized the smell was off (not as sweet/pleasant) did a little research as well as compared to my old bottle and came to find out the formula has changed. Super disappointed. I can’t say if it works just the same as I don’t plan to keep it, but if the scent was a big part of your love of the product. It may be time to find an alternative. So far the Mielle Mint Sweet Almond oil will be my replacement.

This product is AMAZING- great bottle and smells wonderful… the best part is the cone shaped top and this part of The bottle came broken. Target MUST DO A BETTER job on packaging. This is such an exceptional product and is often sold out in stores. Not Shipping this product properly is extremely disappointing. The oil is FABULOUS.

I use the leave in conditioner and then this. Gel to top it off. Works so well on frizz and to define curls.Love it! I took a chance on this and only got it was a buy one get one half off. Had been using the leave in conditioner which I like but this took it to the next level.

I loved the original formula, and used it for years. This new formula is thicker, darker, and has a stronger, more unpleasant smell. I compared the ingredients on my old and new bottle, and sure enough they're different. She added a few oils like peppermint oil, lime oil, bergamot peel oil, and ginger root oil.

This has been my favorite hair oil for years. I just ordered a new bottle since I'm almost out and the color caught me off guard so I opened it to smell it and the smell really is super strong and earthy. The oil seemed a bit heavier and my scalp isn't a fan unfortunately. I still had some left in my old bottle and compared the two and the new formula looks, feels, and smells a lot different. I would have gotten pass the smell but it makes my scalp itch so I'll use it for my nailbeds but I'll have to find a new hair oil which is so sad. I had to change the rating from 5 to a 3...

My low porosity hair loves this oil from the moon and back especially the orginal formula... the scent WAS amazing but now it seems to be stronger and different, not nearly as pleasant... please bring back the orginal scent. It also looks darker and doesn't seem quite as lightweight as the original. It's not bad just not as good as the OG.

I have been purchasing this oil for months and love it.. however, my recent purchase since the upgraded bottles,.. has more yellow tint and heavier scent.

I use this as a body moisturizer after bathing. It smells amazing, absorbs quickly without residue, and leaves skin feeling soft, smooth, and dewy. I absolutely will repurchase.

Great lightweight oil for just about anything. Seals in moisture; had a beautiful light fragrance; and all contained in a great package - the oil can be dispensed from this bottle with drip, pour or squeeze and there is a convenient screw top cap on the lid to prevent agains spills that might cause any loss of this precious golden liquid. Highly recommend for curls, locs, skin.
