Don't bother
I normally love Melissa and Doug toys, but not this time. The triangle is excellent, all of the other instruments are junk. They barely make any noise, if they work at all. If you're buying this just for the triangle, you'll be very happy. If you want anything else, look elsewhere.

Fun toy, breaks easy?
We love music in our house. My boys love learning new instruments and the different sounds that they make. They work well for a kids toy. However one of the maracas now has a giant crack down the side as well as a few other small cracks throughout. Which is kind of a bummer since they've only had them for a month or so.

Great Fun but Kazoo Didn't Work
We received a box similar to this as a gift. All the instruments were great except there was a kazoo with it that did not work. It was simply shaped like a kazoo with nothing on the inside. All other instruments (tambourine, clapper, cymbals, and maracas) were great!

Granddaughter likes everything, took the strings out of the end of the clapper so it can actually make some kind of sound now, not sure why they would put those in there in the first place.

Except for the triangle, instruments had little sound and are cheaply made. My two and five year old excitedly opened it and quickly walked away. Not typical for either of them with imaginative toys.

It's something I may consider again
It was a bit smaller then I anticipated but being for 3 or over it make sense. I wish the clapper was a bit louder because you can hardly hear it. Other then that it's okay
