Love the wooden characters, easy to grip

My 1 1/2 year old grandson loves the little cars! He loves Paw Patrol and I am sure as he grows his play with this cute little city will grow with him!

My grandchildren love this activity rug, but it does not want to stay flat; therefore, the characters, etc. will not stay up. It causes a lot of frustration. Presently, our daughter has the rug underneath heavier toys in hopes of it flattening out. . It is so cute. I hope it works.

Our grandboy loves this rug of Paw Patrol figurines etc. He uses his imagination while paw patrol doggies save the day. And, he gets GrandMa on the floor playing it too. Yikes.

This is a very cute product and my grandson loved it. Until we discovered that there is a permanent crease in the mat that does not come out even with leaving in sun and ultimately washing. I think it is due to the way the product was rolled up in the delivery box. It is frustrating to use, because when placing the pieces on the mat, they fall over due to the bumpy crease in the mat.

My 3 year old absolutely LOVES this set! He loves setting up the “town” and driving the pups around. This was definitely a hit! 6 year plays and enjoys it as well.

This is easy to clean up, is quiet (yay for Mom working!), and also is easy transportable for when we take a road trip to visit family and want to bring some toys.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 4 children, ages 18 months, 5 yrs, 7 yrs, and 10 yrs old. We have purchased Melissa and Doug toys for several years and enjoy them. They are reasonably priced and well made. We love this Paw Patrol Activity Rug. The durable rubber backed mat shows the view of Adventure Bay. The mat easily rolls up for storage in a small place. We keep ours rolled in-between a wall and our wooden toy storage book shelf. We keep the figures in a wicker basket on the toy shelf. The wooden pups, Ryder, buildings, bridge, and the wooden vehicles are included. My only critique is that I would have loved to have Mayor Goodway and Chickaletta the chicken as well. The painted wood is smooth and looks great. The vehicle wheels roll smoothly and easily. The figures are a good thickness and comfortable to hold. All of our kids (even the 10 yr old) enjoyed this set. The additional fun and playability aspect of the rug is that we can use other toy cars and figures on it. My 18 month old daughter has little princess figures that work well on this and my 5 and 7 yr old boys have several small cars that can also fit well. The mat is lightweight and this set would be great for taking along on trips when staying at a hotel or family member's home. I would recommend a cloth drawstring bag to carry the figures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Soopo much fun. Reminiscing, my daughter had an activity rug when she was little but nothing like Paw Patrol Adventure Bay. It was more BYO toys. The grandkids love it, as kids do. Even the big kids had a glow in their eye. Side Notes: 1. I would suggest a mini tote to keep all the Paw Patrol goodies in. So they don't get lost in the toy box. 2. Adventure Bay is the best because after a season and a half on television with females only represented by Sky. Paw Patrol Adventure Bay introduced Mayor Goodway. Hee-hee. 3. Paw Patrol is originally Canadian. It premiered on Nickelodeon in the U.S. on 8/13/2013. On 5/18/2014, Spin Master introduced a toy line. 4. Environmentally, there is very little plastic in the packing and toy itself. The pieces are made of wood (mostly). 5. Oddly, I wonder how many tots grow up to be cops because of Paw Patrol? Thanks for the memories. Zerad

He is just so in love with the rug! I'm assuming because of all the decorations and theme that's on the rug? I'm happy he loves it so much and I appreciate the opportunity to sample this with him because we spend a lot of time playing with the Paw Patroll set together on the ground, something I haven't done in a while with him.

The play pieces are made of thick wood, which is good because my 4 year old can be very rough on his toys at times. This activity rug has held his attention for hours while he moves the buildings and Paw Patrol characters around, which is amazing since he normally won't play with the same toy for very long in one sitting.

However, they missed one character of the Paw Patrol. She got a little sad for a second because of it, but got back on it right away lol. It would also make a great gift for kids 3 years and older.

I love that the rug is washable and high quality, the toys are made of wood and super cute. My kids love paw patrol and cars, so this playset is perfect for them, it helps to avoid using electronics and play pretend with different toys and cars! Awesome Rug and toys!
