Colorful way to learn little letters
Colorful and helpful way to help a child who already knows her capital letters figure out which lower case letters go with those upper case letters. Might be nice if there was a sound version.

My Two Year Old Loves It!
Love it....but the font makes it kind of hard for example N & Z look extremely similar and the lower case N could easily b "u" . The lower case "p", "d" and "b" are all exactly same size abs shape just different colors.

Fun for toddlers learning capital letters and small letters
Great for quality and educational. My two year old loves this puzzle.l because it has both capital letters and small letters. he quickly learned both. The only thing is that the letters a flat which I thought would be a problem but it's not for little fingers.

Absolute winner between ALL toys ever!
We got this for our 19month old when his next sibling was born. He become OBSESSED with letters (and later with numbers, also first wood numbers from this store). Before second birthday he know alphabet forward and backward, small and big letters (we called them back then baby and mama/daddy letters), before third he was able to read names of the shops, articles' names in superstore, book titles. At age 4 he read himself simple books like Piggy and Gerald series. Now, not 6 yet he reads books (level 3 and higher) and enjoy math from 4th grade textbooks and Alan Turing's math riddles for 8+. He is in French immersion now and we do not need to worry that he ever would have any problem with English reading/writing. We had to buy his siblings separate alphabets (and extra numbers sets), it was ONLY toy he'd never let to touch anyone! His next sibling follows in his footsteps, learning quickly (she is sport type, not as much bookworm like her bro but also loves books). Our alphabet puzzles are played constantly from 4.5 years, last time actually yesterday. We still didn't lost even one letter from sets as it was the "most precious" thing for our kids. Toy LOVED by all our kids and both parents. Planning to buy soon the next one for younger cousin. Picture our 22month old back then with his most beloved toy.

Horrible quality
What a disappointment! The letters are oddly shaped. For example 'd' has a very short stick and the 's' is more of a blob than a letter. The base is also very poor quality, the slots aren't deep enough for the letters to really stay and we noticed that it had warped the same day we received it. Needless to say we returned this puzzle.

Great Puzzle
Great for eye hand coordination, sequencing, alphabet recognition, fine motor, bilateral coordination, and etc. activities to use this puzzles are endless. Id do wish Melissa and Dough could come up with a clear covering/lid for all there board games/puzzles that include pieces so that the pieces are safe and secured after each use especially for traveling therapists. I hope this product last me a long time and I don lose any pieces.

SUPER toy!
Absolutely the best toy! We bought it for our son when he was 18months old. Now he is 2years and he knows all alphabet, big and small letters, started to spell simple words like mama or daddy and he is obsessed with this toy and generally with letters and numbers. He has also Melissa&Doug's shape sorting clock and can count until 20 now. We are looking now for See & Spell Learning Toy, Magnetic Chalkboard and Dry-Erase Board, ABC Picture Boards, Add & Subtract Abacus and magnetic letters and numbers in Canadian shops, because ordering it from USA is a bit too expensive. He has never enough letters and numbers, and Melissa&Doug toys are the best! Recommended for everyone!

Need to fix the Ss
This was one of my daughter's favorite puzzles, so I recently ordered it for our grandkids. I am disappointed that the picture online was photoshopped (You can clearly see if you zoom in on the S) and the S on the actual puzzle looks like a blob. How will this help children learn this letter? Other than that, I think it is a great puzzle.

Upper and lower case alphabet
My grandson loves it, but it can be a little frustrating because the letters don't have the knobs to pick them up. Otherwise great puzzle.
