    Great shorts, but got hole in them after less than a week

    Great shorts, very comfortable and good price. However, after wearing them only twice and only having them for less than a week, I got a hole in the back of them so now I can’t wear them anymore. I was really easy with them too, and just wore them casually, I wasn’t working or doing anything with them that could’ve caused the hole to form. I was pretty disappointed because I really wanted to wear these again.

    I wanted inexpensive shorts with zippered pockets for the gym, and these work well for that. But the material uses a weird weave that gives the shorts a rough, textured feel that I don't love. I got another pair of zippered pocket shorts by Mier that have a smooth, soft feel that I like much better, so these have become my backup shorts.

    Fabric changed from 6/2024 to 2/2025

    I first bought two pairs in June 2024. They were stretchy and served as a hybrid short: swim and gym short. One of the pairs has pilling in the crotch area, but pristine everywhere else. When I repurchased these in Feb 2025, the material appears to be shinier, thinner and the sizing runs a bit small. Both times, I purchased Medium. The 2025 version has less give all around. Verdict: I would buy again at the sale price. At regular price, no.
