They are a large frame for a female face, but I prefer a larger frame. The lens is dark. The tortoiseshell design is beautiful. They are a thick durable plastic. They seem to fit a little bit snug but not too bad. Men could wear these often to the beach or the park or even with a suit to work. They are also the perfect amount of shade. I wear these driving, boating abs pretty much everywhere. The design is a tortoise shell pattern on plastic frames. These fit really well. They retail for a good price and are handy to have for casual wear. I think Women could wear them too. My husband said they are comfortable to wear and they are one size.
