Men's Timex Expansion Band Watch - Two-ToneT2M935JT

This is an attractive watch and promises to be a quality addition for me. The Timex name has a great reputation. It looks great and works well. However, the wristband is a little tight on my arm.

Great look on the wrist and perfect for needing a day and date displayed. I have a thin average wrist which fits ok. I don’t recommend for someone with a large wrist. Other than that, watch works fine.

I had this watch for 5 or 6 years, but I had a fall and tore the band up. Was using the watch without the band while grilling, and accidentally dropped it into the grill. After I finished grilling (about 15 minutes), I fished the watch out of the grill bottom, cleaned it up with soap and water, and it was working fine. Just needed a new band, which is difficult to find. So I’m in the market for a new (same) watch just to get a new band!

I love this watch and it is an excellent watch showing both date and days with expansion band which are what I exactly look for. It has taken me a while to find it. The price is very reasonable too. Thanks.

My husband loved the watch. It is very nice looking. He wanted one that would light up at night when you pushed the button and this one does. He also wanted the day of the week and the date and this one has both. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the watch did not come with instructions on how to set the day.

Just what I wanted. I already own one of these Indiglo watches for a few years now. I ordered a lighter face this time. I am an older female and really like the large face on this watch.

Excellent time piece. I have always used Timex watches for everyday use. This is a gift for my brother. I love the two-tone contrast and clear sized numbers. It also has the day and day indicator. It is very elegant and can be used on special occasions. I chose the "Indiglo" option as I have always found it useful. This was bought as a Christmas gift. Highly recommended

Hubby is not complaining about the wrist band--I asked him because so many others said it was too small or tight. Anyway, I'd been looking for a watch that had not only the date, but also the day of the week. And the face is not dark. He's really happy with this watch.

I have had this watch for 8 years. I tried to change the battery and the watch would not close again. Learn from my mistake and take it to a jeweler to have the battery changed. I love the indigo feature.

I bought a Timex watch and it was exactly what I wanted. It has numbers on the dial as well as the day and the date and a sweep second hand and markings between the numbers to mark off the minutes. It seems to keep perfect time and I am delighted with it.

It's all that I wanted in a watch: day, date, glow, expansion band—and at a very good price.

I have recently bought this watch and although it's a fine looking, solid, comfortable watch, it has a couple of issues. Firstly, I am a senior, who uses glasses for reading but I do not wear glasses for everyday activities. I find that the hands of the watch are extremely difficult to read, without putting on my reading glasses, as they are almost the same colour and finish as the face of the watch (no contrast). So it's a pain to tell the time during most of my active day. Secondly, I just noticed that, when I'm outside in the Manitoba winter, for some unknown reason the inside of the glass face fogs up, that can only be cleared up by warming up the watch.

I love the style and had another Timex like this one only with a black dial. The band is too tight for my large wrist and cannot be easily adjusted or replaced. I'm working on an interim solution.

Timex T 2M935 jT: Overall, this is a nice dress watch for the money. Its one of a very few analog dress watches you'll find with a backlight at any price. Which in my opinion is a huge oversight on manufacturers part. Why anyone would spend hundreds to even thousands on a watch without a light is beyond comprehension. The more common luminescent hands on other watches are for the most part a joke and basically useless for telling any kind of accurate time in the dark. Been using watch a couple weeks now. In a weeks time it lags behind about 8 to 10 minutes but that could be the battery not the watch, not a big deal to me regardless. Adjusting the time a few minutes is very simple and only takes a couple seconds. The date feature is individually settable however the day feature is not and must be set by adjusting the time through 24 hour cycles. I suspect this is going to be a hassle once a month because I doubt a mechanical watch (the indexed gears) knows how many days are in each month. And even if the engineers were smart enough to index the gears accordingly(which I doubt because of leap year) there is no reference point to initially set the watch so the gear orientation is in sync with the date and day features. That could take months of constant trial & error to figure out - if even capable at all. Also, come 12am the day feature does not turn right away. It takes until about 2am for the next day to show up in window. Again, not a big deal. If your that stoned you don't know what day it is you most likely don't care what time it is either. Not an everyday kind of watch. For everyday use / abuse / reliable no hassle accurate time keeping stick with a digital Ironman or something similar. Had I paid more I'd be dissatisfied. However, had I paid more for a more 'luxurious' one without a light and probable same mechanical limitations I'd be even more dissatisfied. Hence, for the money I am actually quite happy with it and so is my Girl which makes it a very good value to me.

On the surface this looks like a beautiful watch, however, it is a Christmas present for my husband so I cannot rate the quality at this time.

I bought this for my grandfather in 2015 and he's been wearing it ever since. He's had no problems with it and loves the fact that it lights up when you press the button. That feature's useful for him since his eyesight has worsened with age. The weight and feel of it isn't high quality but it's a watch -- it tells time and does it just fine. It made a great gift for him and I'm sure if you're giving this to someone special, (s)he'll love it too.
