The exterior on this Rocky Men's Jump Boot has an adequate amount of durability and ruggedness so that it is able withstand the most unforgiving working conditions. The upper has been built from premium full-grain black leather. These 10-inch public service boots have a side zipper that aids in getting them on/off rapidly. In addition to these features, there is a polishable toe so that you can keep these boots looking like they are in tiptop shape.A great deal of the paratrooper boot's strength attributed to its welt construction. Eventually, all public service boots begin to wear down; with this construction, these boots can be repaired with no trouble and they revert back to their original hardiness.The contoured EVA footbed provides cushioning that will pacify your achy feet, and will make standing a much more comfortable experience.You will have more stability as a result of the stabilizer, because it is non-metallic you will not have to remove your footwear or be delayed around scanners or sensitive equipment. The black rubber lug outsole provides dependable traction; this is especially beneficial when you are walking on uneven terrain.

    Good look, falling quality

    I loved this boot. But man: the quality is awful now. I've always worn these boots, every day since about 2015. The quality has dropped consistently every time I buy new. I'm in IT, I hike, and they see snow; I do condition and clean the boots. They fit, they look nice, but they more or less fall apart in a year or two. Not a great booy anymore, just a boot.

    Great boot

    After wearing the boots constantly I love them. Unfortunately the zipper gave out after nearly 2 years of wear. Overall great boot and extremely comfortable

    Decent with potential

    The boots look great but did not last very long. After 4-5 months of normal use, they began to crack at the foots outer bend area on both boots.

    HEAVY & TIGHT

    These boots are HEAVY & Tight for my feet. It will cause or exacerbate a bunion if you are experiencing this medical condition. I know of one who worked in SWAT & had to get surgery to correct his bunion blaming the boots he was wearing as cause of it. They look really nice and professional BUT in the end it’s really about comfort.

    Amazing professional looking boot!!!

    This is probably the 4th or 5th pair of these boots I have purchased and will continue to purchases these as long as I am wearing uniform type boots. They are easily broken in and can be a little uncomfortable until they are broken in but feel like tennis shoes once they are. They are very sturdy and comfortable and the zipper lasts as long as the rest of the boot. I have only had to order new ones each time because of wearing the sole down to literally nothing.

    Great quality

    Very durable

    I bought a pair and they actually lasted me for about 1and a half years ,2yrs if you take care of them by shinning them and not wearing them in too harsh of environments.

    Broken on 1hrs day

    Bought these for work as an infantryman, the toe caps of both boots Shatered ON THE FIRST DAY WEARING THEM. These are cosplay boots they are not meant to be worn outside. Save your money boys, this one ain't it, it's a shame.

    Sizing is way off

    I’ll be honest, I’m not sure how to accurately review these boots. Followed the suggested guide and got advice from others who ordered. Went with my shoe size and they’re about 2 sizes too big. If the sizing is this inaccurate quality instantly in question.

    Rocky 2090 boots

    I have been wearing these boots for years. With no cartridge in my knees I can still walk 3 miles with these on, barely 1 in tennis shoes.

    problem with zipper

    i bought a pair and wore them home. when i unzipped them to take them off, the zipper didn't go down far enough. i had to unlace them. defeating the purpose of the zipper. very disapointed

    Still the same?

    I bought a pair of 10" side zipper jump boots, (style 2090), approximately 30 years ago. They held up wonderfully and when they developed a split (which probably wouldn't have happened if I oiled the leather) in them that would have cost the same amount to fix as purchasing a new pair, I did just that. When I received them I gave them a good look and they appear to be the same in most ways. The differences were small. Wearing them, it feels to me that the uppers may be a bit thinner leather. This may not be a bad thing because they are pretty comfortable out of the box. I remember the old pair taking a while to break in causing me blisters. I will add that they do run large. I usually wear a 10. In these I need a 9W. Will the new pair be as good as my cherished old pair? Only time will tell.

    Excellent support for ankles

    I had some bad inversion sprains jumping in and out of the truck I drive. I got these jump boots over a year ago and the extra support solved the issue. Boots look great and take a beating in a trucking/Warehouse environment. I see a lot of negative comments on the side zipper.I rarely use the zip feature and have no problem taking my time to get them on . It's not a issue for me. The extra support and no injuries are worth it. Good quality at a good price.

    Rocky side zip Jump boots

    I ordered online just before Labor Day weekend. Arrived on time, however I ordered 11 1/2 M , which is normal for boots, they felt huge. I figured I would need an 11M . Lucky for me I live in SW Ohio and had the option to go to Nelsonville and return them at the store, I ended up exchanging them for a 10 1/2M . No issues now, they are surprisingly comfortable right out of the box. Wore them all day today fresh from the box, they are comfortable and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. Can’t wait to put some miles on them as I purchased them for a riding boot, first poker run in them next weekend. Can’t speak on durability yet but I have no doubt they’ll last as these are not my first pair of Rocky boots and definitely not my last. Only disappointed you don’t get a Rocky boots keychain anymore 🤣😂 . I’ll be heading back to Nelsonville soon for some work boots!

    Bought a pair thought thought hey rocky is a good brand and these boots should be great....they lasted maybe 2 months before the zipper busted.....after reading reviews about the replacement boots ppl recieved that had zipper issues I just marked it up as a loss and decided to got with a different brand boot.....for the price you should get a boot that actually lasts
