An Alaskan staple in the commercial fishing industry with features that apply to a variety of industrial work settings, Xtratuf Legacy boots supply flexible, all-day comfort and the best protection against the broadest range of acids, corrosives, and contaminants. This 15-inch waterproof pull-on boot is made with a signature triple dipping technique, which creates a seamless barrier that is highly resistant to many and inorganic acids, chemicals and contaminants. Our latex neoprene is ozone resistant, and is softer, lighter, and far more pliable than ordinary rubber. Cushioned insoles with arch support help fight fatigue and stress on the legs and back. This Wide Calf version features a side gusset for a customized fit. Recommended half sizes order up.

    Xtra Tuff boots are great

    The Xtra Tuff boots are superior to any I have ever had for fishing in Alaska. They have great tread that doesn’t slip on the wet docks and ramps. However, I’d never recommend Fed Ex Smart Post for shipping your boots. The worst customer service I’ve ever had.

    Cheap Clasps

    Clasps for adjusting the side bellows broke within two weeks. Heels are starting to separate. I've only had these boots for 6 months. They don't make Tufs like they used to. Wouldn't recommend these over the standard legacy boot.

    Buy these

    I use these boots as my concrete pouring boots, and they're my favorite. Better than muck boots, dried concrete doesn't stick too heavily to the neoprene, they're lightweight and comfortable, and the wide calf adjustment is nice for fitting extra layers when it's cold.

    These were great for our recent Alaska trip. They were easy to get on and off, great for walking on the beach and kept my feet dry for bear-watching and salmon fishing.

    A bit of struggle to put them on

    These wide calf boots are easier to put on than my old standard xtratuf's, but it still is a bit of a struggle. (They are snug at the ankle -- plenty of room for my foot.) It would be nice to have a loop at the back of the boot. My old boots are holding up well after 25 years - I'm handing them off to my son, who is thinner!

    Need a size 16

    Seems like a great boot, but I really need Xtratuf to make a size 16 in these. The extended calves were good, but I'm usually on the 15/16 line and these were too short for me.

    THE boots for me

    I LOVE these boots! I ordered the men's because the women's didn't have the extendable option. They're super comfortable, have a supportive sole, are warm enough for Canuck winters + they feel safe (slip resistant) on ice. I love the retro look and the fact that you can roll them down. Way better quality than my Hunters (never again).

    Xtratuff Christmas

    I have very very large legs. Thought these would open up enough by the way they where designed. I knew better. But was hoping they would fit. Not of any fault of Xtratuff's. It was all my own fault. Will be buying more lower top boots in the near future. Thanks again.

    For women who work like a man

    I have a small landscaping company and service the areas surrounding Washington DC. I used to wear Hunter wellies for years until my Alaskan son introduced me to Xtratuf. Your boot is far superior in every way and the added bonus?? They keep my feet warm. I wish you would do the Salmon sister prints in a wide calf... I'd buy every pair!!

    Great boots

    I've had these boots for almost a year and wear them almost daily for almost everything fishing, gardening, cleaning out the chicken coop and even early season hunting. The only knock I have on them is that the buckle side of the strap broke within a couple months but I'm pretty hard on gear so I can't complain too much.

    Comfortable and durable

    I've had these boots for almost a month, and I wear them everyday, all day, while working in the greenhouse and nursery. I am a woman with wide feet and have trouble finding women's boots that don't squeeze my feet--these fit perfectly.

    Son's boots

    These were for Xmas, but never made it under the tree. We had some crazy weather and he needed some boots. I gave them to him early and I think he wore them 2 days straight......rain, oyster roast, boating. Great pair of boots!

    Perfection

    Ever since the manufacturing moved overseas the boots became more narrow. Some people like the new style, but I prefer a wider calf boot for tucking in pants and easier on/off of my big feet. This is a perfect solution and now my favorite boot.

    These boots are THE BOMB!!

    I bought these boots because they were recommended by UnCruise for my Alaskan cruise. I am a woman but bought these because I have a wide foot and wide calf (8W in women's). These fit perfectly and are SOOO comfortable! Now I know why they're called the Alaskan sneaker. I opted to wear them vs my hiking boots on one of our Alaskan hikes and I was so glad! They were just as comfortable--maybe moreso--and I didn't have to worry about getting through water. I LOVE these boots. My husband jokes that I'm even going to start wearing them out to dinner. I cannot say enough good things about them. Thank you XtraTuf!
