The Rocky 9" BearClaw boots are great for hunting, but you may want to work in them, too. Regardless of where you wear them, the #FQ0009237 boots are durable, rugged and comfortable. These  Rocky boots are made with full-grain leather and tough nylon. They have genuine Goodyear® welt construction and a storm welt for durability, shape-retention and a solid platform for hours of wear. A breathable GORE-TEX® fabric membrane keeps moisture out and keeps your feet dry. Rocky added 200 grams of 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation to the hunting boots to help keep your feet warm even on the coldest days.The lace-up system is a lace-to-toe pattern with eyelets, D-rings and hooks for maximum adjustment.When you're walking, your feet are comfortable because of Rocky's exclusive polyurethane cushioned Air-Port™ footbed which also is perforated for air circulation.

    Great all around boot

    I've had several pair of these boots and I run a tree nursery 6 days a week, I'm in wet grass every morning, the waterproofing is good and they are very comfortable I also wear them for coon and bear hunting great grip in the woods. All around good boot!

    Eyes tore the boot strings

    Bought 2 pair in the past 6 months both pair the eyes broke the shoe strings. Going thru a pair of boots strings every other day after wearing them for only 3 months

    Quality boot

    The Bear Claw is another quality boot that you expect from Rocky. Nice, all full grain leather with an aggressive tread. Perhaps overly aggressive. Appears to be a long lasting boot that will require little maintenance.

    Good boot but not a hunt boot, heavy and stretch!!

    I bought these for an Aoudad hunt and they stretched out very much even after i broke them in. Nothing but painful blisters rest of hunt. They are heavy duty but the leather was very scared up after the battle with all the cactus. These should be work boots not hunting boots.

    Long lasting

    Bad sizing.

    It's not true to size, runs small, about half size down. Additionally, I felt pain when I was crouching, so I returned it. I really want to love them, it's a good looking boots!

    Rocky used to be my favorite work boots

    Rocky Boots used to be my favorite work boots till now. After a year and a half this what they look like. They used to last right till the lug sole wore down flat. Used to be a long time Rocky boot fan till now.

    Great boots

    So far this boot has been super. Fit is awesome, great support and traction. I live in southeastern Idaho and hunt in all types of terrain and conditions, the only drawback I have found is hunting coyotes in cold weather ( 0 degrees ) the soles get really hard.

    Not a hunting boot

    I bought this boot 1 year ago hoping it would be a good hunting boot. The upper seems ok but the sole is the worst i have ever seen, it feels like it might be ok when it is warm but when the temperature drops below 40F it turns hard like steel and sounds like you are walking on hollow pipes with less traction

    Worst Lace Hooks Ever on a Pair of Boots

    Put these on today out of package and have serious doubts about these ever working. The upper lace hooks are very poor quality and backside of 4 of them dig right into ankle bone. Even with thick padded boot socks and moleskin on back of eyelets. 10W.

    Good boot

    I’ve used these boots for a few seasons now. They’re very durable, warm, and comfortable. The only negative I have about these boots is that the eyelets eat your shoe laces. I’ve probably blown 8 laces by now. Tried to figure it out but it does it to both of laces on each boot.

    Excellent grouse hunting boot

    I loved these boots, I had a sole fail on a late season grouse hunt, but as of this morning ROCKY BOOTS made it right by shipping me replacements. I was mistaken THEY ACTUALLY DO STAND BEHIND THIER PRODUCTS!

    Sole failure

    Bought the boots and the sole of the boot detached in the middle of a late season grouse hunt, miles from my pickup in less then favorable weather conditions in Northern MN. Pretty much sucked big time, evidently they're designed for stylish conditions city wear and wannabe outdoorsman

    Rocky Bear Claw 200G Insulated outdoor boots

    Excellent design. Very stiff leather for ankle and foot support. Modest thermal insulation for Spring/Summer season wear. Fantastic outsole for outdoor traction anywhere.
