    Do not buy

    These boots are the worst when it comes to sizing. They run very narrow and small

    I just received my boots I ordered a wide fit and fit more like ultra narrow Do not !!! Order rocky boots, their fit is not as posted for sizes and width Keen fit better

    buy them in August 2023

    I live and work in Patagonia, I use them every time I have field work, I use them in rain, snow and mud and I have had no problems. I recommend them 100%. I am back on the web site to buy others.

    Seam came apart.

    These are comfortable boots, but the seam near the toe came apart on both boots. Should have been made with one piece of leather instead of putting a seam in a flex area.

    Best Boots I've ever used

    I bought a pair 8 years ago and am about to buy the exact same pair again, treads has finally worn completely down. Great comfort, waterproof, and traction while it lasts. Never replaced the soles. Excellent boots.

    Great tread and true to size

    I got these boots a few months ago and wanted to make sure they worked well before I left a review. The beak in process was a little bit rough because the tongue has such thick padding and left blisters through my socks on my ankle. After that, they have been nothing short of magical. Hiking through the back country in West Virginia and most recently the mountains of Gila National Forest in New Mexico, I can't say much negative about these boots. The leather is supple and flexible but still waterproof and just enough structure to prevent my ankle from rolling too far. the only thing that will happen with any waterproof boot is it keeps the moisture on your feet, so make sure you have an extra pair of socks for mid-day swaps in the summer time. I'd definitely recommend these to a friend

    I love these boots...i haven't tried them in the winter yet so I hope they'll truly keep my feet warm but they are very comfortable. I love Rocky boots!!

    Bought these boots just before Christmas the breaking in process was slightly painful but no complaints yet. Seem to be well made keep my feet warm and dry. Now that they are broke in the fit like a glove. Would definitely purchase again. Much better quality that Timberlands, Red Head, or even Keen!

    Good and Bad

    I had been wanting a pair of Rock boots for years, but never got some until now. I was able to get these at a good price, so I ordered some. I read a few other reviews (after I bought) but had the same experience as others. Pros: I normally wear a 11W and that is what I ordered. No complaints on the sizing. Aggressive tread on these. They also seem durable and well made. I also like that they have Gore-Tex. I haven't tested how waterproof these are yet. Cons: The laces are way too short for this boot. If you order them, go ahead and plan on ordering some 69-73 inch lases to replace the ones these come with. The plate that holds the lace hooks on the upper portion causes pain on my inner ankles. On the inside of the boots, there is an area that budges out some like the leather on that portion was cut too large and "puffs" out (circled in blue on my picture) The tongue is kind of puffy looking also. I like the fit of my Timberlands better, but I like the tread on the Rocky boots more.

    For the money you can't find a better boot

    I am a land surveyor, wear these almost daily, in all kinds of conditions, snow, wet, mud, dry, brush, pavement, lunch, dinner, you name it, keep my feet nice & dry. Do they wear out, of course they do, but usually get 1 to 11/2 years of hard use, & i do mean hard use out of them. These are Gore-tex boots & for the money you can't beat em. Have a nice softer rubber sole, fairly aggresive tread, and comfortable to wear. Love em!!

    Good looks

    I have been wearing these boots for over a week and they are still not broke in, I hope they start feeling better on my feet or my rating will change to much lower, also the laces need to be longer so they can be double-knotted. I also wear the Rocky Portland boots, when you put them on they feel great. I have had four (4) pairs of the Portlands.

    Very tight

    i have had these almost a month, and I cannot seem to get them broke in. they are so tight for a wide boot and forget lacing them up the laces are so short, They do seem to be comfortable if you don't mind your toes being crushed. So sad that I have been wearing rocky for almost 30 years and have seen the quality in this product go down.

    Not as good as expected

    The wide width is still pretty tight after wearing a couple of times. A little uncomfortable. Shoe strings are way short. Not even close to being able to lace all the way up.

    so far my boots did not leak

    in the 70's rocky was the only boot to buy. when they left the usa they lost a lot of there quality. I own about 15 pairs of hiking boots and can not seemed to find a comfortable pair. I have to wear orthotics and your comfortable inserts would be great but I have to remove them. so far for a boot not made in usa they do not leak. If you want to find out how a boot holdup in wet conditions walk about 3 miles in wet grass. for me so far so good. if this keeps up I would by another pair. I did not answer your e-mail because I needed a couple weeks to truly see how good the boots function.
