These suck. Not in a good way. They lasted less than 2 weeks walking around town. Forget about wearing them in an actual wheelhouse. Seems like Xtratuf isnt making gear for actual fishing or actual work anymore. the last for xtratuf boots Ive bought Ive been disappointed with. I guess theyre keeping the caulking industry alive. 3M giving you guys any kickbacks?

Sole disconnected after 30 wears

I work as a plumber and split days between this pair and another pair of boots from a different company. Even giving this pair a day per week advantage of 3 days a week, times 10 weeks... that's only 30 wears. I'm pretty disappointed in this boot. I wouldn't expect to see the sole disconnecting like is after such a short period of time.

I love these boots. They run a little big/loose and don’t come in half sizes but I can live with that. Perfect for rainy dog walks and quick slip on/off for taking the trash out.

I bought these for my husband and he absolutely loves them. Wears them all the time. I’ll be getting my own once the blue lobster ones are back in stock.

Ordered a size 10. It was too big and sent back and got a 9, too small.
1 reply from Rocky Brands team - 1 year ago
Hello, If size 10 is your typical size, and the wheelhouse collection was too big, we would recommend shopping our other styles. The wheelhouse fits a bit wider than our standard ankle deck boot collection. Let us know if you have any other questions: xtratufcustomersupport@rockybrands.com

The worst pair of boots I've ever owned. I am a fishing guide and would wear these boots when not fishing. I happen to walk in a puddle and found a leak in the bens of the toe that spit open. Both are now cracked in the same spot. Not worth warranting then cause I have lost faith in Xtratuf products

Thank you for leaving feedback regarding the XTRATUF Ankle Deck Boot. We take quality seriously and would very much appreciate the opportunity to either speak or email with you about the product. Could we have a member of our product team reach out to you? If so, please reach out to us via email at XTRATUFUS@rockybrands.com with the email or phone number you would prefer we contact you at. If you have any photos of the product could you please email those over, as well as specifics such as where and how the product failed? A photo of the size label inside the boot is also very helpful as it provides a code we can use to track back where the production failure may have occurred. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

Those boots are made for walking on sidewalks away from puddle. It’s not a boot that keeps you dry. The midsole and upper joint cracks within a day. Don’t waste your money on that.
Great boot, but will only last one year at most

Bough these about 16 months ago to have a fishing and rain boot. Were fitting and comfortable enough to get slop work as well as multiple hours of standing on deck in. However, once the snow came, the boots (both) cracked on the top of the toe and became useless. Part of the reason why I bought these were to have an indestructible pair of rubber boots, so I’m disappointed to say the least. The warranty on these is kind of disappointing considering that they are just a piece of molded rubber. Very sad that I will have to find rain boots elsewhere.

Purchased these boots last winter, regular use nothing over the top. Didn’t use them much this summer. Pulled them out in fall to find they have stress cracks over typical flex points. Not waterproof anymore. Expect more for the money..

Sloshing around on deck and pulling fish up in bad weather is much more comfortable and safer than with traditional deck shoes. Not bad for sloppy yard chores Get them.

As far as a company x tra tuff is phenomenal. They always stand behind their products. I think they are sturdier than their predecessors, built a little better, however they don't fit like the old models. The old models formed to your foot. These fit more like a muck boot.

I do not understand why you would not put the classic Chevron soles on these wheelhouse shoes. They are extremely slippery on our expanded metal ramp.
