A reinforced Superfabric toe and heel help to prevent wear and tear when wearing with a fin. The drainable Vibram Mega Grip outsole and speed drain polyurethane footbed and midsole allow for water to drain easily. Inside the shoe, the EVA insole has drainage vents as well for more efficient and faster drying. There’s no need to change your shoes from ship to shore with the Rocky Coronado. Purchased in August 2023, used as an office-work only boot. It was 4 months before the first small hole started in the mesh, now there is another larger hole beginning where the mesh attaches to the toecap on the side. The non-mesh material is plasticky and hard like a cheap football/basketball, but so far has been able to handle the rigour of sitting at a desk and walking to the printer. Very airy and breathable though and would work well if you only want them for 3 months of summer. The wides are appropriately sized. Ordered the same size as I'd get in my new balance shoes.

My feet like to sweat horribly inside regular work boots of any sort. I bought these in the hopes that they would help my feet breathe better and be less sweaty in the Colorado southeast plains wind and heat and wet weather. They really do dry rather quickly after being fully submerged. I mean it's still moist but dry time is reduced because of the design. I wear an extra insole insert for added comfort. Feet still breathe pretty well. They have met my expectations. Give em a try...
