This is a nice looking boot and feels like quality material but I can’t get over the issue with the tongue. Right on top of my foot there is something that digs into my foot and is very uncomfortable. I tried to start the return but haven’t heard back from 3/11/25 when I started that process.

My sister bought me a pair a little bit ago and I love them they look great and they feel great I worked in them for about 3 days/30 hours now and even though they are not broken in yet they are still comfortable when these inevitably break on me I will be buying another pair of these .. the only thing I don't like is that the laces are a bit thin but that's just a preference for me.

These were the most comfortable boot I've ever worked in. They usually last me 9 months with a result of less pain in my knees and lower back. I'm really wishing they'd bring them back. If they do I'd love them in black.

Looking for Made in the USA? Be careful!

I spent a fair amount of time (apparently not enough) looking for USA made boots and was exited to support American factory workers. Much to my dismay when my boots arrived I discovered I was supporting factory workers from the Dominican Republic. Rocky's website for the Iron Clad product line says they are built in America and that is not true. Only certain Iron Clad boots that state Made in the USA in the individual product description are made in America. If this is a consideration for you let my lack of reading comprehension and trusting companies at their word help you to support American Workers and American Families. *The low rating is not for the boots themselves. I will write a review for them seperately.

I’ve owned 5 pairs of ironclads over a 12 year period, these paired with redhead wool socks all year round, yes even in summer is a match made in heaven many 24 hour shifts doing linework and my feet still don’t hurt unless I don’t wear the wool socks two pair the sole has cracked but continued wearing them and sometimes standing in water covering the boot for 8 hours and still dry feet , amazing boots, they are heavy though.

I bought a pair of these less than a year ago. Pretty heavy boot but seemed quite well built. Now the bottom is pulling away about 1/2 back from the toe. Right where a shoe would flex as you walk. The bottom is built in layers and that is precisely where they have a seam. I won't buy another pair of these. They just don't hold up.

These boots took only one 50 hour week to break in. Had a couple pair of rocky boot but never a steel toe work boot from them (thanks ZBT). There’re getting put through their paces now working 50 hours a week carpentry for a general contractor. Love them so far; I’ll review again at the end of the job in 8 months.

I bought these boots about a month and a half ago. I am office personnel that travels to job sites a few times a week. These boots don't see hard work, they just protect my feet for the occasional site visit. The sole has cracked right in the arch.

I've owned these boots for over three years now and they're by far my favorite boots I've ever owned. I've taken them hunting through swamps and on days when the temperature drops into the single digits, and my feet have never been wet or cold in them. I've worn them for work, in town, hunting, and everything else, and they still look and feel great with no signs of slowing down. As long as you take care of them, they will always take care of you when you need them most.

Worst boots I have ever bought by far

I recieved these boots as a gift from my mother I would say probably 3-4 years ago. I tried wearing them around the house for the first week or so to break them in. I got them to the point where the leather was nice an soft and wore them to work. I didnt wear them an hour and my feet hurt so bad I had to go back home and get a different pair of shoes. All this time im still thinking that surely they just need to break more, and eventually they should be just fine.. well 4 years later and maybe wearing them about 30 times for an hour or so at a time, its not happend. I went back to wearing my old work boots (throgood) since I couldn't seem to break these rocky boots in. Last week my throgoods got laced up for their last time. Being left with no other options i thought I would give these boots another try. Unfortunately after only one day again, my feet were KILLING me. Two days I could barely stand and today i made it a whopping 3 hours before I had to go up the road on my lunch break to buy something else. These have been a huge waste of money, they are not Waterproof as they claim, they get wet all the way through into the insulation. My feet have the biggest blisters i have ever had on them, and I do between 20 and 30k steps a day. My feet are use to abuse, these boots have been pure torture.
