I bought this for my boyfriend in corrections around 4 months ago. With the right socks(knee length) and breaking them in, the boots give a lot of support and show no sign of wear and tear. You get your bang for your buck with these.

So, I've had these pair for over a year now and so far I've have mixed feelings for them. Both love and hate them. Love: they are very stylish, and have a paratrooper like feel with modern applications such as speed lacing and water proof capabilities. Hate: after a certain period they would bruise my ankle and no matter what I have done I could never find a way to resolve the problem. Also, the rest of the boot can't be shined with any shoe polisher aside from the tip and heel. Which made me ask Rocky if the boot was "real leather". Despite asking Rocky what material the boot was they deter me away to their website forums which didn't help at all. Not to mention the disappointment i felt after watching Rose Anvil review after all the praise he has given the boot. And lastly the boots aren't true to size as the website puts it. I recommend buying either a size down or half a size down. Essentially abiding by jungle boots logic.
