I've been buying these for about 3+ yrs. Love them. The main problem is after a little wear the inside sole at the heel moves and they become very hard to take off. I would love it if Rocky would please fix this issue. Then they would be a strong 5
Never let me down in the military, they did now.

Bought these boots back in May of this year. Thought I had broken them in fairly well. Took them out for pre-season scouting mid-August, and I paid the price for it. After 12 miles of hiking up here in Northern Idaho, the blisters on my heels were so bad, they split and bled for a few days. After nursing my heels just in time for Archery season, I wised up and doubled up on socks, I put an additional 20-30 miles on these boots and the outer rubber on the heels of the boots ripped open right at the stitches, exposing the insulation and material inside the boot! Never have I experienced or heard of this coming from a Rocky boot. I returned them, and went with another brand instead. Only upside(s) I can give these boots, is the sole material is soft enough, old dry logging roads you are whisper quiet. And the insulation really does keep your feet warm. I’m saddened to have even written this review, because I’ve been touting Rocky as my favorite go to brand of boot for years now, and recommend them to everyone that is looking for good boots, that’s mainly due to the fact I wore/wear their SV2’s that have done me so well in the service. Rocky’s hunting line of boot just doesn’t hold up I suppose.
Best all around boot.

Been in construction work for about 15 years and have gone through numerous brands of boots and these by far are the best I have found. Easy and quick to break in, and they are built to last. I put about 10-15 miles a day on my feet, and these last a long time.

I bought these boots over a month ago. I went out on a wet, wet, Cold Elk hunt break-in is great. Went through a cold snow area feet kept dry and had great traction, I rounded up to a 12 normally wear 11 1/2 figure with two pairs of socks I have plenty of room. I’m glad I did my feet fit good these boots worked great on downhill and uphill as well. glad I got these on the flash sale.

Got these on sale because I already own a pair of Rocky Eliminators that I got in 1986, so I knew Rocky makes outstanding boots. These were no disappointment - good looking boots, well made, and comfortable. The only complaint I could possibly have is that the boots are a bit heavy and the laces could be ten inches longer. Those two problems are more than made up for by the quality of the boots. Rocky Boots are the only boots I buy.
Absolutely love them

Got these boots for hunting and it’s like wearing slippers in the woods. Extremely comfortable and the waterproofing was great! I did treat them twice with mink oil throughout the season but my feet never got wet and I hunted in some very wet conditions. All n all I’m very impressed with these boots and will definitely buy another pair when these blow out
Great hunting boot.

This is my second season hunting with these boots. They are great they’re durable, warm, waterproof, and comfortable. I did, however, replace the insole with an orthotic insole and I believe that is made up great difference. I even bought a second pair of the shorter non-insulated boots in their great too. I have recommended them to others and they’ve been very impressed
Don’t last.

I bought these boots approx a year ago. I should toss them out as they’ve been sitting in the basement for the last two months. I use them for dry ground coon hunting with an occasional shallow creek crossing. Initially I was in love with the comfort but then the sole of the boot at the right toe started to pull loose. The sole on the left foot at the outside of the left foot pulled loose and the leather on the back of the heel has torn. Looks like I’m going to have just spend a little more money and buy a real mountain boot.

I bought these for a elk hunt and the first try on they seem really comfy. The first two days of the hunt I put about 26 miles and they were okay. But after 4 days of hunting and ramping up the miles I put about 65 miles on them and couldn’t bare to wear them any more feet got blisters around both heels and my feet ached every step I took. I couldn’t take it anymore more so I have to ditch these boots and put on my everyday nikes and hunt in those for the remainder of the hunt putting in another 40 miles and even my every day shoes didn’t hurt my feet. I think the boot is durable and great traction when in the rocky high country I just wish they were comfortable for the miles I had to put in. Maybe some better soles would be the fix.
