These have mesh inside like swim trunks. If you want swim trunks where would be ok, but not for the beach since the pockets have no flaps or closure, they'll fill with sand. They feel very cheap, like low quality polyester.

These are my wife’s favorite shorts! The material is light and airy, they’re fitted through the leg, and are a shorter men’s cut. If you like a more androgynous look these are perfect.

For me, a smaller size worked better than my usual choice, and I appreciate having a perfect fit. Personally, I primarily use these shorts for activities outside of the water, and they work perfectly for that purpose. However, I appreciate that they come with a lining, making them suitable for water activities as well. It adds to their versatility, which is a definite plus. If there's one area where I wish they could improve, it's the color assortment. While I enjoy the shorts' performance, having more color options would allow for better wardrobe coordination. If you're looking for comfortable and versatile shorts at a good price point, I would recommend giving these shorts a try. Just be sure to try them on first to get the right fit for you.

I like the fit, the length, the material, the design. I despise that when I swim the back flips up and it’s like I have a drag car parachute on the small of my back.
