Meow Mix Original Choice with Flavors of Chicken, Turkey, Salmon & Ocean Fish Adult Complete & Balanced Dry Cat Food

What mental giant designed the large bag made of plastic and cross threads? It's a nightmare to open and won't seal back up The paper bags with fold down tops were easy to open and close. I absolutely will not buy anymore packaged that way even though I have been buying Meow Mix for 20 years.

Meow Mix Original Choice has worked well for my cats, providing a tasty and affordable meal option. Packaging is great and there isn’t any noticeable scent that is bothersome. It's "The only one cats ask for by name" after all! 🐾Years later, I received this bag complimentary in exchange for my honest review. Doing so reminds me how much my cat seems to like it, even though I've tried a lot of other kibbles by now. We've already used up the bag received for review and repurchased Meow Mix. How's that for a testimonial?! For one thing, the Original Choice Flavor now has more flavor! My cat chooses to chow down on Meow Mix when he has the option of another formula. That says a lot! More than what my cat eats, he is able to digest Meow Mix too. Does your cat sometimes seem to inhale the little pellets of kibble (in other brands) rather than chewing them? Mine does that sometimes, and then he gets sick... But the multiple shapes and flavors in Meow Mix seem to take care of that problem. It helps on its own or mixed with other brands. Meow Mix helps my cat throw up less and absorb more nutrients, simply said. Meow Mix original choice has flavors of 🐔, 🦃, Salmon & Ocean Fish 🐟 for Quality Protein and 40 Essential Vitamins. It's 100% NUTRITION COMPLETE CAT FOOD, and I recommend it as part of your cat's diet.

Meow mix has always been my go to cat food. I have tried the indoor version as well but my cat prefers the original. Comes in a couple different size bags all at a great price.

Our cat loves meow mix. It keeps her hair shiny and beautiful. She always asks for more if her bowl is empty. With some other brands we see a lot of regeritation, we don't with this! I love that I can pick it up at the grocery store too!

While this is one of the cheapest foods and you may be looking for one with a small budget, this is definitely a “you get what you pay for”. I got this for my 12 year old cat when we were having a hard time financially to try and cut costs everywhere I could. My cat developed respiratory issues and began losing hair. After a vet visit, we changed her food back and within a week the sneezing/snot stopped and her hair started growing back. We won’t be using it again after our personal experience.

But boy oh boy this put the cats in kitty food comas. I wish the cats didn’t smell through the bag. Then perhaps my door would remain less clawed!

For the price? I was skeptical that it wouldn’t be enough for my cats, and may upset their tummies—but I was completely wrong! They love this stuff! Their litter box still smells good, compared to some cat foods which have completely turned their stomachs upside down. It’s affordable and I’ve found no issues with this food!

My cat seems to tolerate it, it’s not the best that money could buy… however it gets the job done. Well worth it if you’re on a budget and can find it at a big lots or dollar store.

The price is very fair. The ingredients are okay. The scent isn't the best, but its cat food after all. The effectiveness works. The packaging is good.

My cat is super super picky, and this seems to be the only brand he will eat!! If it’s something else forget it he’s not even touching it! So we use this and the other flavors they have! I don’t think it has a very strong smell to it like some other cat foods do which is good because some really stick! The packaging is just the bag I wish they would start doing reseal bags so it’s much easier instead of trying to roll it up or find a container! The price for this isn’t too terrible either probably one of the cheaper kinds. This will definitely always be my go to!

Max loves this! It keeps him well fed and healthy. He is enticed by the smell and this is effective to keep him fed. This package is big enough to last.

This a great price for dry cat food. Basic ingredients as to most cats will enjoy. As far as smell it's just like any other dry pet food. Nothing overwhelming.
