Underwhelming At Best
I’ve tried a few different types of these Dubai chocolate bars now and I have to say, this is the worst! For the price I would not recommend it! The chocolate is cheap waxy chocolate with a weird aftertaste and there’s almost no filling. The advertised picture shows a thin chocolate shell with a substantial amount of filling and if that’s what you’re expecting, you’re not going to get it. This bar is closer to 60% chocolate, and extremely underwhelming chocolate at that! The only reason I gave 2 stars is the little filling that is there does have a decent taste. I definitely won’t buy this one again!

Filling was great, chocolate was not.
Not what I had hoped. I tried one from Bealls Outlet that was labeled the original gourmet dubai chocolate with the viral stamp on it. I did not have high hopes but it was delicious. I just wished it had more crunch to it inside. Then I tried THIS one from Target. The inside is so much more like what I wanted. However the chocolate is not a delicious milk chocolate. It has a very unpleasant taste to it that I can’t ignore. This is not worth the money at all to me. I was disappointed. I did not expect the chocolate part to be what was off about it.

Chocolate itself is not bad, has a satisfying crunch you would expect from kadayif. However, the flavor of the filling - 👎🏻, doesn’t taste like pistachio, leaves a weird aftertaste. Very disappointing.

I found this brand beacause of their Angel Hair Chocolate Bar is all over Tiktok so I had ordered that one and the Angel Hair Bar from Target. The quality of Meronne's dubai chocolate is superior to the dubai style chocolates I have tried before. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for other brands, this is a steal for $12.99... Also no artifical coloring in the pistachio cream and the cacao precentage is quite high for milk chocolate. I am so happy Target has this item. I'm going to be sending this as gifts to my friends this holiday season, the packaging is high end.
