Bought a $50 card and a $25 card. The $50 card went through OK, but the $25 card had an error that said Oculus credit can be added later. Had to contact Meta support for them to manually issue a $25 credit to my wallet.

Meta Gift Card Redemption: What Worked for Me
I had trouble redeeming my Meta gift card on the website—kept getting an error about being logged in, even though I was. The solution? Use the Meta Horizon app. Here’s how: 1. Download the Meta Horizon app on your iPhone or Android. 2. Sign in or create a Meta account. 3. Go to ‘Wallet’ in the menu, click the ‘+’ button, select ‘Gift Card,’ and enter your code. 4. Hit ‘Redeem,’ and your gift card will be added to your Meta Quest Wallet. This worked perfectly for the gift card I purchased from Target. Hopefully, this helps others who run into the same issue!”
