No POWER. Inferior product
The nailer would not sink a 2” nail in soft pine. I adjusted the depth to the max and it still would not. The battery was fully charged. It worked without the no mar tip but this dented up my wood. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Great nailer
Very good nailer! So far only have about 10,000 nails used but with no issues at all. No lagging like my previous nailer and all nails are set under the surface

Fabulous Nailer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nailer is used frequently, never has an issue penetrating any type of wood. Great power, decently light, depending on type of battery installed. Came with carrying bag which is quite useful.

Back saver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after a week of lugging my compressor up to a loft where I was installing trim. I still have my pneumatic guns but I keep this in my toolbox at all times in case something comes up I wasn’t planning to do. I’ve shot thousands of nails through this by now and only once have I had to clear a jam. It has an early warning feature that stops shooting before you run out of nails which confounded me the first time it happened but appreciate now. As with most cordless tools the convenience of not pulling against a hose is nice but it isn’t the best option for tight spaces or corners. I appreciate the thought that went into the little things like on board storage for the rubber foot. It has a bump feature but I’ve yet to find a reason to use it on a finish gun. I didn’t think I’d use the rafter hook but it comes in handy when I can keep it on my apron as I use my hands to align two pieces. Because it’s so convenient I find myself using it in ways I wouldn’t have bothered bringing a compressor for like holding up one end of a 2x as I drive screws into the other.

Solid Metabo Quality
I picked up the Cordless Finish Nailer at the big blue box store, and it’s quickly become my go-to tool for finish work. I was working inside my house and didn’t want to drag my compressor up the stairs just to hang trim. My first impression was that the nailer felt a bit heavy, but after using it for a while, I got used to the weight, and it became much easier to handle. While it’s bulkier than some other models, it’s something you adjust to with time. This nailer is perfect for nailing baseboards and wood door casing on residential projects. It comes with everything you need: the 3.0Ah lithium-ion battery (BSL1830C), charger, contractor bag, and safety glasses. I’ve been impressed with the battery life—I’ve driven a whole box of 1000 nails on a single charge, which is excellent. The pneumatic-like feel, thanks to Metabo HPT’s air spring drive system, mimics a pneumatic nailer’s performance but without the need for a hose. The tool-free depth adjustment is super easy to use, and the LED light is useful when working in dimly lit areas. That said, the only downside is that the light is on the side of the gun instead of the head, which isn’t ideal for illuminating tight spots or angled work. The selective actuation switch is a great feature, allowing you to easily switch between sequential and bump fire modes, depending on whether you need precision or quick firing. The no-mar tip works fine, but it does feel a little awkward—it does its job, but it could be a bit more user-friendly. Another small issue is that the on/off and other buttons are quite tiny, which can make them difficult to operate when you’re in a hurry. The rotating rafter hook is a nice touch, although different from Milwaukee’s model, and while the NT1865DMS is bulkier than Milwaukee’s, the price makes it a great value overall. I’d love to see Metabo HPT standardize their control panels, improve the no-mar tip, and add a larger depth adjustment wheel in future versions. But in the end, I’m very happy with this tool—it’s been a reliable and powerful addition to my toolkit, and I’m glad I picked it up.

Possible changes
Like the gun, but safety nose broke 3rd time using , from 12 inch fall. Do not like power switch should be trigger or safety nose switched like other brands

Absolutely love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this tool for a year and it still works as if new. Im really happy with the quality of the tool and the ergonomics it easy to handle and I like the dual firing modes I haven’t had a problem with it yet. I do construction for a living specifically interiors so trim work doesn’t stand a chance with this bad boy

I should’ve bought this years ago
I really like this nailer. It has really been a time saver on a couple of trim jobs I just finished. The nailer performed flawlessly. If it had just a bit more adjustment on the nail depth I would have given it 5 stars.

Fantastic tool, but get one for each arm.
I've had this for a couple of years and use it indoors and out, never an issue. This nailer will drive up to 2.5" nails into and through just about anything. Depth is easy to adjust and out will drive nails as far as you can pull the trigger or drop the foot. Battery power is never an issue. With a mid size battery you'll only have to pause to add nails or switch arms. This nailer is heavy like a tank, but it's hits like one.

Dependable nail gun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a contractor I use this gun daily and put it through the paces, it handles everything you can want and more, only thing I don’t use it for is hanging Hardie trim!

Complete tool for finishing.
Purchased this tool over a year ago and primarily use it for installing ship lap paneling. Hasn't failed me as yet, easy to use and easily adjustable for depth of nails being used.

No Power
I was between this nailer and the paslode, I went with this nailer because all of my tools are metabo. The nailer does not full set finish nails, no matter how deep you sent the depth gauge the nails to not fully set. Very disappointed.

No hose no compressor noise!
Preforms just like my air powered one so much better than having a hose to drag around, not compressor noise.
