The 36V MultiVolt 3-1/2 in. Plastic Strip Cordless Framing Nailer (NR3690DR) delivers a driving speed of 3 nails per second saving valuable time and increasing productivity. Forget the hassle of having to navigate long hoses or compressors around or having to deal with gas cartridges and GO cordless. The Pro Preferred Brand of Pneumatic Nailers introduces a new alternative offering freedom and efficiency on any residential framing jobsite. Thanks to Metabo HPT’s unique Air Spring Drive System, this 36V Cordless Plastic Strip Framing Nailer delivers a feel and performance similar to that of a pneumatic nailer. The pneumatic-like feel combined with the convenience and power of the MultiVolt battery allows you to work with this cordless nailer all day long, driving clipped or off-set nails from 2 in. up to 3-1/2 in. in length and 0.113 in. up to 0.131 in. in diameter. The included 2.5 Ah MultiVolt battery also drives 900 nails per charge. The NR3690DR Cordless Framing Nailer is part of the expanding MultiVolt system of power tools from Metabo HPT. This nailer accepts any MultiVolt battery for extreme cordless power on the jobsite, and also accepts the unique 36V AC adapter to plug-in and work all day. If you depress the tip trigger for longer than a second or two it won't fire and you'll have to reset 2. In bump mode you can only bump fire, it also times out quick 3. It turns off quick if you're not firing it 4. On off button is tiny

I've used these nailers for the last 3 or 4 years. I currently have 3 of them and they are my go to framing nailer on the job everyday. 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the weight, only beat by paslode.

We accidentally ran this thing over with a ram 1500 a few weeks ago, it hasn't skipped a beat since. Amazing nail gun we use it every day.

I use this gun for small framing projects. It buries the 3" ring-shank nails, and has an aggressive nosepiece for angled shots. It is compact enough to get between 16" OC studs. Great runtime.

I build sheds and barrel saunas and this nailer really saves me time. The comfort of not tangling on a hose or cord makes it easier to move around. It is quite heavy but with my tool belt I still manage to carry it around while climbing up the ladder. My colleagues have the DeWalt and it is so noisy with every use. The Metabo is quiet and powerful. Great product that I’d recommend to anyone in construction.

Bought to use on a large fencing job (1600ft) for family. First and Metabo product. Nailer is large in everyway buy gets the job done. I wish they would make the magazine larger as a single sleeve of nails.gets annoying but you get used to it. Only complaint is that the gun either gets turned off accidentally by bumping the power button inadvertently during use or some other cause that would make you have to push the button to restore power. Also the power lights are too small and hard to see outside. Clearly jams was straightforward and easy. Most issues were plastic collated pushing over the prior sleeve of nails, which to me, was more of Metabo nail issues given the non-uniform cuts to the ends of the plastic collations.

Bought this framing gun back when it was still Hitachi. Had it about 5 years and still shooting nails thru all types of material. Remodel homes and put it in commercial settings and cant seem to break it. I would buy it again. Great for punch out items and Remodeling. Go cordless your crew will thank you.

I recently bought this product, it as a great power for nailing every sizes of nails you put in. It can shoot trough glue lam, LVL, framing wood without difficulty. The only down side of it is that the spring that drives the nail in the ramp is kind of weak, and can sometimes fail to push the nail strip up.

I bought this in august 2022, along with $1200 worth of other metabo 36v tools. We are building our house and they have been invaluable! No cords or compressors to drag around. I am hooked on all my metabo HPT tools!!

It may not replace a pneumatic framing gun, however on smaller jobs it definitely can get the job done. Only complaint would be that it weighs a lot and can get tiresome throughout a long day. Battery life is good and never had an issue with jamming too much or miss fires.

I am supremely impressed with its power easily driving 3 1/2" nails. So much easier than lugging around a compressor and hoses! Wished it came with an extension for a double rack of nails.

I am really impressed with this nailer! It has never missed a stroke or jammed and works as good as my neumatic nailer. It is a little heavy but that's a good trade off for no hose or compressor to deal with. Battery life is good and recharging is pretty fast. I bought an extra battery so I can keep going while the other battery is charging back up. Highly recommend this tool.
