About The Author
Becky Thompson is the founder of the Midnight Mom Devotional on Facebook. She is the author of the books Hope Unfolding, Love Unending, Truth Unchanging, and My Real Story. Becky also shares hope-filled truth through her top Christian podcast, Revived Motherhood. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and three young children.Susan K. Pitts has been married to her husband, Marc, for more than forty years. Together they minister across the state of Oklahoma. Susan is also the co-director and prayer team leader of the Midnight Mom Devotional on Facebook, serving alongside her daughter, Becky.

This wasn’t what I was in the market for as far as a daily devotional. The prayers, while very relevant to the motherhood community, weren’t really relevant to me or what I was looking for out of a devotional. I don’t believe this is the devotional for a person looking to deepen their understanding of God’s word or anything like that. This really seems geared towards the group of moms and others that are already familiar with their platform.

This is such a beautiful book of bit-sized devotional prayers for every momma. It’s exactly what you need in those midnight hours when life, for all kinds of reasons, is keeping you awake and you need a quick moment to pray and reflect on who God is and listen for His response..
You can read the prayers day by day or by specific topic. There’s a very helpful topical index at the back of the book. It seems like every topic we face during motherhood is covered in these beautiful prayers. Get a copy for yourself, your best friend, your momma, your sister, and every soon to be momma in your life. It’s the perfect resource next to your Bible for quick, faith filled prayers.

I would have to agree with a previous reviewer. It is nice having the prayers in book form, one for each day of the year. However I wish there was more to the daily reading than just writing the name of a mom you know that needs a prayer that day.
