About the Book

Now available as a board book--the #1 "New York Times"-bestselling follow-up to "Your Baby's First Word Will Be Dada, " the first children's book by the host of NBC's "The Tonight Show." Full color.

Book Synopsis

Everything is . . .

MAMA!

Jimmy Fallon, one of the most popular entertainers in the world and NBC's Tonight Show host, was on a mission with his first children's book to have every baby's first word be DADA. And it worked! A lot of babies' first words were DADA. However, everything after that was MAMA.

So take a lighthearted look at the world from your baby's point of view as different animals try to teach their children that there are other words in addition to MAMA for familiar objects and activities, now available in board book.

Review Quotes

Your Baby's First Word Will Be DADA:

A punchy and deceptively simple story that will make for some fun readalouds. --Publishers Weekly

Children of all ages can glean knowledge and enjoyment from this book. --Children's Literature

About The Author

Jimmy Fallon lives in New York City with his wife, Nancy, and their two daughters, Winnie and Franny. He received glowing reviews for Your Baby's First Word Will Be DADA, but when he looked around his house and realized everything was MAMA, he went back to work. If you have a three-year-old, they'll love the pictures. And if you have a one-year-old, they'll love how it tastes.

Miguel Ordóñez illustrated Your Baby's First Word Will Be Dada, which was honored by the Society of Illustrators. He lives in Madrid with his wife Lucia and their two daughters, Carla and Vera. Carla and Vera's first word was Mama.

Not a fan.

I feel like it is blatant disrespect that this book purposely has a page that doesn’t follow the rest, while the dada book consistently has every animal saying “dada”. We returned both bc of this.

Another book by a rich person

Another book that people buy just because it's Jimmy Fallon it's so stupid when there's actual people making real stories in the world especially on Amazon and people give their money to someone that doesn't give a crap about them and is Rich already good job people I'm being sarcastic

Very cute simple book

Very simple words and picture. It’s not a storytelling book but it’s great for repetition to learn new words. You can also add in words like colors, names of animals, etc.

Not great.

It was a very bland and basic book. I understand it’s for babies but there wasn’t enough words to expand a baby’s vocabulary.
