It looked beautiful but no matter what we did, we can’t get it to hang level. It is also REALLY BIG— but that was my fault for not paying closer attention to the dimensions. It’s already probably too late to return it though once we tried to hang it and shortened the wire :/

Purchased in December 2023 before there were any reviews. Beautiful but will NOT mount properly. Have tried everything to get it to hang straight. The hardware is not made properly. Can't return it with all the modifications and tweaks we've attempted to make it work.

The light is large and very beautiful, but there seems to be a manufacturer defect. Like the other reviews mentioned, the light is unbalanced and leans to one side. We tried it anyways despite the bad reviews because it was on sale; however, the reviews were correct. After playing with it for a bit, it seems that the problem is with the glass dome itself rather than how it is hung. The glass seems to be symmetrical, but it is weighted towards one side, causing it to lean no matter how its attached. It’s unfortunate, because Hearth and Hand has so many quality items, but this one is just a miss and we’ll be returning it.

I love this light! It was the perfect addition to our new kitchen. We had zero problems adjusting this light and chain for it to be the right height and hang level. We also bought the small ceiling light to go over our kitchen sink.

Do not waste your money on this. I thought I got one with the white glass having a manufacturing defect because it’s lopsided. But no, I just received my replacement and it’s the exact same. Other reviews say it doesn’t hang level because of the chain - that’s not it. It’s the actual glass globe that is made not level and can’t screw into the black piece to sit level. It’s so bad and I can’t believe this passed Hearth & Hands quality control. Do not waste your money on this and shop for a similar light elsewhere. Such a bummer because it is a cool light fixture.
