Once in use, you can definitely feel the heftiness of it - definitely attributing to how sturdy it was. One thing is that the colors of the fork part don't quite match up with the provided product photo - I thought the colors would be much brighter (think: bright pink, green and blue) but received more standard/darker colors of red, green and blue. Other than a surprise in the color selection, I am super happy with the quality of these.

This outdoor fork is constructed of durable and thick plastic on the head, while the handle is made of solid wood. The handle is 52" long, which made it the perfect length for me at 5'8". I did not have to bend to scoop, which, when doing yard or farm chores, can make a world of difference! I also liked that they come in colors. This can help keep tools from being used incorrectly - i.e., waste vs. food. I liked that while the fork is durable, it is NOT heavy! This is a BIG deal to me. I imagine I will be able to work for longer periods of time due to this decreased weight. I would absolutely recommend The Little Giant Durafork for both Farm and Garden alike!

I was able to use in the chicken coop to remove soiled straw bedding and the mulch pile which is much heavier material! Very versatile piece of equipment to use for multiple tasks!

It's still pretty cold outside so I haven't really had many opportunities to put it to work yet but they really seem like they're going to hold up fantastic over time and be a great addition to our gardening shed! Them being more light weight and much easier to maneuver doesn't seem like it will comprise the durability! Even my 8 year old will be able to use these to assist with yard work! My only disappointment was not getting the color it said they'd be but that doesn't speak to the quality of the product itself maybe just the attention to detail from the shipping source. I would definitely recommend this set of rakes.

I use them for pine straw around plants and garden areas . It's really great for spreading or picking up hay,leaves, and pine straw. Great quality!
