Q: we've been using millie moon diapers and our daughter most of the time has diaper rash. we have taken her to dr and he suggests that it might be diaper....what do you think? we are now tryng huggies
submitted by new mom - 3 years ago
A: Every baby has the potential to react differently to a product. I had one that I could put any brand on without issue, and another who broke out with the brand his brother primarily used.
submitted byMom2jngncna - 7 months ago
A: Every baby is different. It could definitely be the diapers. I had a similar issue once with one brand. Anytime we try to use that one, she gets a rash. You may just not be able to use Millie moon specifically
submitted byJadeNic - 1 year ago
A: Though not sure if it's what many are experie& age seems common concern. They can be hypersensitive to or have a reaction to certain diapers/wipes which can present diff, suggest trying diff brand
submitted byRome - 7 months ago
A: I actually switched from Kirkland to Millie moon and her redness rash improved. Babies will still get rashes if you don't change them often enough. We use honest diaper rash cream too. These diapers have been much better than others we tried.
submitted byVeganNomz - 1 year ago
A: Millie moon gave my daughter a terrible diaper rash less than 24 hrs after buying them. She has used multiple other “hypoallergenic” diaper brands before this and never had a problem. I’m so disappointed-they are not what they promised.
submitted byPixie242 - 2 years ago
A: We've used for 2 years on our son without an issue. Pampers kept exploding and causing rashes on our okder 2, so we made the switch qith our 3rd and have loved them.
submitted byAshlee - 1 year ago
A: I absolutely love these diapers! I don't understand the rash complaints, every now and then my baby gets a rash but it's usually due to feeding or weather or if the diaper isn't changed rapidly.
submitted byNewMommaBr - 1 year ago
A: I switched when they changed to ECF my son is sensitive to it. I used parasol as they are soft and TCF but Huggies skin essentials is good too.
submitted byRaine - 8 months ago
A: Millie moon definitely causes severe diaper rash. My baby's skin blistered so bad. She is fine now that we switched to pampers
submitted byJas - 5 months ago
A: I’ve used these with 2 of my 3 littles (current one is 11mos) and loved them for various reasons but after their process/ingredients changed… it gave my baby girl a rash so I discontinued automatically and haven’t gone back; it’s not worth the risk. Wipes too. I have a whole box I don’t want to give out 😒.
I’ve switched to Parasol and have been very happy with them.
submitted byNalaSarabi - 1 year ago
A: Same! We switched no more issues !
submitted byMicah - 2 years ago
A: I have not had this issue with Millie Moon diapers. Rashes are caused by excessive moisture. If you’re experiencing this, try thoroughly drying during diaper changes. I have never used a diaper cream on my two children (one 2.5- now out of diapers and one 4-month-old). After a wet wipe, I use a dry wipe, then fan it out before putting on the new diaper. Also, make sure you’re changing the baby’s diaper sufficiently.
submitted byNoname7 - 1 year ago
A: I would say my baby hasn't had diaper rash since using Mille, he had it every other day with pampers and he peed threw pampers and Huggies..

A: I would be incredibly surprised if Huggies were better, considering that they’re not very non toxic, I would recommend a truly non toxic diaper, something totally chlorine free such as honest, kudos or pura to name a few. I came to read the ingredients of Millie moon and will not be buying them.
Please don’t try pampers they’re full of fragrance. Even the pure ones. They also have lotions, which can be irritating.
I am only looking around for a different diaper because I have a gift card to use up, but have been happy with those listed above!
submitted byLia - 1 year ago
A: Are you consistently using diaper rash cream? We’ve never had this issue with Millie moon and have used since our daughter was born. She’s 1 now. Maybe your babe is extra sensitive. I do think these diapers are “cleaner” than Huggies from my understanding. I hope you find a solution!!
submitted byTeppes20 - 11 months ago
A: probably because they went from TCF to ECF. smh.

A: Try kudos and switch your wipes use a spray bottle with water to wipe off wipe residue

A: We used multiple brands (including MM) that used to be TCF but they changed ingredients and went ECF my kids started breaking out from them, too. So sad that companies are taking the cheap way out for ingredients. We LOVE coterie and they are TCF!
submitted byJlang - 5 months ago
A: They changed their formula and are much more toxic now. We immediately stopped buying it after my babies started having diaper rash (never being an issue prior to the change). Shame on Millie Moon for taking a mostly clean formula and making it toxic in the name of "softness".

Q: Hello, why are there new comments from mothers on TikTok saying that these diapers are using chlorine again? can someone confirm this ?
submitted by Harman - 3 years ago
A: They are ECF not TCF.
TCF doesn’t use chlorine or any chlorine derivatives in the bleaching process.
ECF uses chlorine dioxide instead of elemental chlorine gas for bleaching. It significantly reduces the amount of dioxins and other chlorine-related pollutants compared to traditional chlorine bleaching but doesn’t eliminate them.
submitted byECT vs TCF - 2 years ago
A: Hi Harman,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Earlier this year we shared with our Millie Moon community that we made the move to Elemental Chlorine Free pulp. ECF pulp is the market standard and is completely safe for delicate baby skin. Our diapers are rigorously quality tested to ensure their safety and certified by leading quality organizations include OEKO-Tex Standard 100, Derma test as well as being PETA-certified Cruelty Free & Vegan. If you reach out to us on Instagram at @mymilliemoon or by email at mymilliemoon.com our customer love team would be happy to help answer any questions you might have for us.

A: The diapers are free from lotions, latex, fragrance, and elemental chlorine.
Millie Moon diapers have garnered mixed feedback from guests, with many praising their softness and absorbency, making them a preferred choice for overnight use. However, concerns about leaks, rashes, and changes in quality have been noted. Guests appreciate the fit for babies with sensitive skin, but some have experienced issues with sizing and durability. Overall, they are seen as a reliable option for many families, especially for those seeking a cleaner diaper alternative.

Caused Painful Rash & Burns!
We’ve used these for my daughter for almost 19 months. They recently changed their diapers and she started getting terrible diaper rash and burns. Overnight she would develop red, painful bumps all over her bottom and would scream when we tried to wipe her. I tried a different brand to see if it helped and it was gone almost immediately. Would not use these again and plan to tell others to avoid them, as well. So disappointed in a brand we used to swear by!

I first discovered these diapers from a content creators page on IG so I decided I wanted to purchase it for my baby. I got size 6 and size 7 and wow! These diapers are so soft, yet strong and holds up very well. I compared it to another diaper same size and the Millie's were a bit longer and wider which means you get a little more room as they get older. Definitely love my purchase and I would recommend this to family and friends.

I used to love these diapers but once we got into size 4 they stop working well for some reason. Lots of leaks and they don't fit properly. We tried more than one pack but the same thing happened. Size 4 in every other brand fit just fine.

Awful chemical burns.
We USED to love these diapers. It’s all we’ve used since my daughter was born over a year ago. They changed something and they gave her the worst diaper rash we have ever experienced. She was bright red, her skin was peeling and almost got open sores. We went through an entire tube of diaper cream in 24 hours we were changing her so often and applying so much. We switched diapers and her rash was almost cleared up in 24 hours.

Warning! HORRENDOUS Rash!
We used Millie Moon with our first baby and loved them, but they’ve changed something. Not only are they so skinny they barely fit my baby’s legs now, within days of using them my 1 month old developed horrific, bleeding diaper rash that did not respond to diaper rash cream and only went away when we started using Huggies instead. I’m livid! I will never buy Millie Moon products again.

Diaper rash and burns due to new formula
We used Millie Moon for over a year and loved them. Never had a problem until recently they changed their diapers and it caused my toddler to have horrible diaper rash and chemical burns. It did not clear up until we tried a different brand diaper. Very disappointed in Millie Moon for not taking responsibility and pulling these from the shelves/issuing a recall. Lots of babies are experiencing the same thing ever since they changed the diapers. This is not a one off thing. Horrible to put babies through this and not do anything about it.

Things have changed.. not for the better
This was our go to before other brands hit the market. We used solely Millie moons for our daughter about 3-4 years ago. We got some in the last year when our son was born and… it has changed and not for the better. It feels thinner, ingredients have changed, and gave him a diaper rash every time. Sad but it’s just not what it used to be. It’s still soft though.

Not worth the rash
These diapers fit different than any other brand and I really like how the front and back overlap so much on the sides preventing any leaks or blowouts. But, the lesser issue contributing to my one star is the wide Velcro strip is a bit much for my refluxy baby. It pushes on her tummy without much flex even when we put the diaper on her loose. The main reason for my one star and why I will be returning all of these diapers I personally purchased and from my shower is they gave my daughter a crazy rash with welts that started to resolve as soon as we put her in a different brand. I put her in a Millie moon one more time to see if it was a fluke and she immediately started getting the rash again. I’d rather deal with a blow out anyway rather than seeing my poor girls parts have such a bad rash.

FORMULA CHANGE
We SWORE by MM in our household but they’ve changed something about their production and we finally got a box of the “new” diapers. Within hours of putting the new box on, my LO had horrible welts on her bum. We’re returning the unopened boxes. Unfortunately, we have one open box. Seriously, do NOT buy anymore.
