Q: we've been using millie moon diapers and our daughter most of the time has diaper rash. we have taken her to dr and he suggests that it might be diaper....what do you think? we are now tryng huggies
submitted by new mom - 3 years ago
A: Though not sure if it's what many are experie& age seems common concern. They can be hypersensitive to or have a reaction to certain diapers/wipes which can present diff, suggest trying diff brand
submitted byRome - 9 months ago
A: I actually switched from Kirkland to Millie moon and her redness rash improved. Babies will still get rashes if you don't change them often enough. We use honest diaper rash cream too. These diapers have been much better than others we tried.
submitted byVeganNomz - 2 years ago
A: Millie moon gave my daughter a terrible diaper rash less than 24 hrs after buying them. She has used multiple other “hypoallergenic” diaper brands before this and never had a problem. I’m so disappointed-they are not what they promised.
submitted byPixie242 - 2 years ago
A: I switched when they changed to ECF my son is sensitive to it. I used parasol as they are soft and TCF but Huggies skin essentials is good too.
submitted byRaine - 10 months ago
A: Millie moon definitely causes severe diaper rash. My baby's skin blistered so bad. She is fine now that we switched to pampers
submitted byJas - 6 months ago
A: I’ve used these with 2 of my 3 littles (current one is 11mos) and loved them for various reasons but after their process/ingredients changed… it gave my baby girl a rash so I discontinued automatically and haven’t gone back; it’s not worth the risk. Wipes too. I have a whole box I don’t want to give out 😒.
I’ve switched to Parasol and have been very happy with them.

A: Same! We switched no more issues !

A: I would be incredibly surprised if Huggies were better, considering that they’re not very non toxic, I would recommend a truly non toxic diaper, something totally chlorine free such as honest, kudos or pura to name a few. I came to read the ingredients of Millie moon and will not be buying them.
Please don’t try pampers they’re full of fragrance. Even the pure ones. They also have lotions, which can be irritating.
I am only looking around for a different diaper because I have a gift card to use up, but have been happy with those listed above!
submitted byLia - 2 years ago
A: Are you consistently using diaper rash cream? We’ve never had this issue with Millie moon and have used since our daughter was born. She’s 1 now. Maybe your babe is extra sensitive. I do think these diapers are “cleaner” than Huggies from my understanding. I hope you find a solution!!
submitted byTeppes20 - 1 year ago
A: probably because they went from TCF to ECF. smh.
submitted byno more diaperrash pls - 2 years ago
A: samethin. my 7m.o never had a diaper rash sinceshe was born. I only use pampers swaddlers butgot sample of this&next morning bad rash. pampers is best.shes 1y.0 now still using pampers&no diaperash

A: Try kudos and switch your wipes use a spray bottle with water to wipe off wipe residue

A: We used multiple brands (including MM) that used to be TCF but they changed ingredients and went ECF my kids started breaking out from them, too. So sad that companies are taking the cheap way out for ingredients. We LOVE coterie and they are TCF!
submitted byJlang - 6 months ago
A: They changed their formula and are much more toxic now. We immediately stopped buying it after my babies started having diaper rash (never being an issue prior to the change). Shame on Millie Moon for taking a mostly clean formula and making it toxic in the name of "softness".
submitted byCassafrass - 2 years ago
A: Yes I had the same experience I will never buy this brand ever, nor do I recommend
submitted byLupitaJ - 2 years ago
A: Try pampers . They have been only diaper that does not cause rash on my baby. (sensitive)
submitted byWoodworker - 2 years ago
A: Yes, we had the same happen just with Huggies. We actually love the Pure Pampers ones :)
submitted byJo - 6 months ago
A: I absolutely love these diapers! I don't understand the rash complaints, every now and then my baby gets a rash but it's usually due to feeding or weather or if the diaper isn't changed rapidly.
submitted byNewMommaBr - 1 year ago
A: We've used for 2 years on our son without an issue. Pampers kept exploding and causing rashes on our okder 2, so we made the switch qith our 3rd and have loved them.
submitted byAshlee - 1 year ago
A: Try freestyle, bumbum or amore. Idk what they did but we used these for 3+yrs no issues up until this new change. Caused chemical burns and rashes. SIGH
submitted bySRey - 1 month ago
A: I have not had this issue with Millie Moon diapers. Rashes are caused by excessive moisture. If you’re experiencing this, try thoroughly drying during diaper changes. I have never used a diaper cream on my two children (one 2.5- now out of diapers and one 4-month-old). After a wet wipe, I use a dry wipe, then fan it out before putting on the new diaper. Also, make sure you’re changing the baby’s diaper sufficiently.

A: Every baby is different. It could definitely be the diapers. I had a similar issue once with one brand. Anytime we try to use that one, she gets a rash. You may just not be able to use Millie moon specifically

A: Every baby has the potential to react differently to a product. I had one that I could put any brand on without issue, and another who broke out with the brand his brother primarily used.

Q: Hello, why are there new comments from mothers on TikTok saying that these diapers are using chlorine again? can someone confirm this ?
submitted by Harman - 3 years ago
A: They are ECF not TCF.
TCF doesn’t use chlorine or any chlorine derivatives in the bleaching process.
ECF uses chlorine dioxide instead of elemental chlorine gas for bleaching. It significantly reduces the amount of dioxins and other chlorine-related pollutants compared to traditional chlorine bleaching but doesn’t eliminate them.
submitted byECT vs TCF - 2 years ago
A: Hi Harman,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Earlier this year we shared with our Millie Moon community that we made the move to Elemental Chlorine Free pulp. ECF pulp is the market standard and is completely safe for delicate baby skin. Our diapers are rigorously quality tested to ensure their safety and certified by leading quality organizations include OEKO-Tex Standard 100, Derma test as well as being PETA-certified Cruelty Free & Vegan. If you reach out to us on Instagram at @mymilliemoon or by email at mymilliemoon.com our customer love team would be happy to help answer any questions you might have for us.

Beware of rashes
I have been buying these for the last few months and then the pack I bought 2 weeks ago started giving my child a rash. He was scratching and clawing to get under the waist band to scratch. He got welts and then a diaper rash. He has never had a diaper rash until this recent pack of diapers. I switched back to his previous brand and no more scratching or rashes. Very disappointed

Do not buy
I’ve been a Millie moon customer for over 3 years and loved them. I have a 5 day old and she got chemical burns on her upper thigh and lower belly. I exclusively asked for Millie moon diapers on my registry now I don’t know what to do with 30 boxes of diapers. I’ts very disappointing finding out they cheapened their product at the expense of babies.

Quality decreases as price goes up.
As our baby grew and we bought bigger sizes we noticed that the larger sizes aren’t as absorbent. These aren’t the “cheap diapers” so I do expect better. As parents we pick and choose what we splurge on, I do buy higher end diapers to ensure comfort, no irritation and better absorbency. But over the course of a year these have gone down in quality. The wipes are still good.

My son has worn Millie Moon diapers since birth without any issues & he is almost 2 now. They worked good and were a brand I could trust. But after purchasing the newer version in early June, he developed a persistent rash. I have purchased about $100 worth of diapers & wipes from Millie Moon that feel I can no longer safely use. I do not recommend. If I could give 0 stars I would. Millie Moon, PLEASE change the formula back.

Chemical like burns!!!!!!!
DO NOT BUY THESE DIAPERS. There are numerous reports online of these diapers causing chemical like burns. This happened to my 3 month old daughter. We had to take her to the ER. I reached out to Millie moon & they blatantly ignored it. They do not care. Please avoid buying these diapers!!!!

FORMULA CHANGE
We SWORE by MM in our household but they’ve changed something about their production and we finally got a box of the “new” diapers. Within hours of putting the new box on, my LO had horrible welts on her bum. We’re returning the unopened boxes. Unfortunately, we have one open box. Seriously, do NOT buy anymore.

Love these diapers! We were dealing with a bad rash from another popular brand, and as soon as we started using Millie Moons, the rash disappeared. The reasonably priced and super absorbent. I feel they run small, so we went up a size, but we are very happy with the quality.
