MindWare Dig It Up! Dragon Eggs - Science and Nature

Got these for my Grandson's 8th birthday - he stayed busy chiseling away to find the dragons in half of them the first day

My nephew loves the whole collection of dragons. He is only 10 and loves to dig them out .

Toys are thought provoking, and an exciting activity for kids.

My grandson loves these. So excited he got a 3 headed dragon this time.

My grandsons ADORE the Dig It Up products. We are going on a family vacation soon, and they will be so excited when I bring these out. Warning: you need dropcloths or old towels, etc. Lots of fun mess.

we are two 8 year old girls and we LOVED it, it was just amazing! Unfortunately we got two doubles of the same dragons.the part that we did not like was that the box said that there was a different dragon in each egg . My little sister will be so disappointed'cuz she wanted the harvest dragon but we didn't get it! But we did get some pretty cool dragons.

He's 8 and so he has more patience than a younger child. We put the egg back into water a few times and he loved the reward of the dragon. His mom and I both felt this could be a party thing for a not to big a group as each egg comes with it's own chisel. another sibling wants puppies eggs for Christmas.

I did this with my 9 year old grandson and 4 year old granddaughter. I had to help the 4 year old crack open the eggs but both of the kids loved doing this together. They then looked at the booklet and compared their dragons and read about each one. It was a great activity that they could share together.

I bought the dragon eggs and the fairy eggs for Christmas presents for my grandchildren. I even FaceTimed watching them crack open two of the dragon eggs, which they loved. But on the second try one of the dragon eggs was empty. He was crushed!

My 9 year old's favorite Christmas present. She's recently into Magic the Gathering and D&D so all manner of dragons appeal. She likes that they're all different and that the set comes with a booklet explaining each guy's characteristics. They're just plastic, and the colors don't totally match those shown in the booklet but it doesn't matter.

This was a big hit for our great grand son. He has always been a dinosaur lover so this was perfect.

5 year old grand daughter likes her dragons. This was a cute way to 'discover' new dragons.

My grandsons, ages 3.5 and 7.5, thoroughly engage with the three dig it up kits I sent them, dinosaurs, gems, and dragons. They work together, side by side, at an outdoor table. For the extended time that they are working, their parents can sit nearby and have a quiet, peaceful conversation. I highly recommend these kits. I order the kit plus an extra set of digging tools, so the boys can investigate together.

I got these as a game for my nieces dragon-themed birthday party. We hid them in the park and let the kids find the eggs. They had a great time. Some of the younger ones had trouble chiselling the dragons out of the eggs and needed parental assistance. They liked that each one was different and hearing about the dragon they found.

My grandkids call them dig'em. It is always exciting to see what they will get. With a whole box to choose from, there is plenty to go around.

Perfect, fun for all ages, made my daughter's 10th birthday a happy one:) The toys are tiny plastic type but that's what we expected so it was fun and all of the kids had a good time making a mess.

I bought this for my 4.5 year old grandson. I followed the instructions exactly. Chiseling the egg was way too hard for my grandson and he got frustrated too quickly. We tried a second egg and I changed the instructions. I used warm water and left it soaking for 5 minutes rather than the recommended 3 minutes. That helped soften the egg. My grandson chiseled for a while and then we just took a hammer and smashed it. We will use a hammer for the rest. (and yes, it is messy).

We LOVE the Dig it Up! eggs in our home. My son will do 2 at a time, so it gives us many days of fun for the price.
