Dont buy. When we typed in the code and were logged into my sons account it said it was already redeemed from the get go. Navigating Target help, microsoft help or Mojang help is a nightmare and each website says someone else is responsible. Minecraft help says talk to Target, Target says talk to Mojang and so on. Xbox app, vs Microsoft Family App, versus the outlook email and trying to navigate what app to go to for help is absurd. Compare that to games like Roblox where you just buy the card and redeem them and how simple it is... Microsoft should be ashamed. Microsoft has enough money to make this easy and yet they dont. Buying this giftcard is a scam for Target and Microsoft to take your money and give you nothing in return and no way to resolve it. Do. Not. Buy. If you really want coins, go direct through Minecraft in the app. Not through target.

Can't enter code, but clicking the link works
I bought this in a small amount with some hesitation because of the reviews saying the code wasn’t valid. Sure enough, when I logged into my son’s account online and manually entered the code from Target, it said the code was invalid. However, I went back to the Target email and clicked the gift card link itself instead of entering the code manually. That opened a Microsoft window and automatically added the Minecoins to my son’s account. One caution for parents: make sure you’re signed into the correct Microsoft account before clicking the link. It redeems the Minecoins to whichever account is currently open in your browser. This process is definitely less intuitive than platforms like Roblox, but the gift card did work eventually.

Need receipt and the one on Target app doesn't count... waste of money. Wish the cashier had said something. I purchased with a bunch of Roblox ones that did not need the receipt and I didn't realize the Minecraft one wasn't the same way. That was my fault but how stupid. I've never seen a card like this that if you don't have a paper receipt it's basically money down the toilet. Will purchase straight from the minecraft app from now on.

No Minecoins
I’ve bought minecoins before and redeemed before but I bought this one digitally and I did all the steps signed into my profile entered the code and everything it said I redeemed it and everything and I got on and no minecoins!!! I am very aggravated and I hope something can be done to fix this

My son loves Minecraft and this gift card code works great. You will receive a separate email with the 25 digit code. You just need to go to minecraft.net/redeem, make sure you're logged into your Minecraft account, enter the code in the Redeem Minecoins section and you're good to go!

impossible to use
I purchased two for two children and they gave me one redemption code. Then there are no instructions on how ot transfer it to the child account. customer service was of no help. This is beyond frustrating for a parent who does not play this game. Do not buy.
