Old Produce
Probably the same person that picked the really ripe bananas, picked the old cucumbers. They are soft, have bruises and even a black thing that looks like a worm.

Positive Review in Three Parts. (Heads Up to Target Corporate)
1) These mini cucumbers are in my essentials list. I am writing this review to counteract the bad comments where some disappointed customers have received aged cukes. (Of course, Target will give you your money back if you ask.) I love this mini-cuke product. I have never received a bad batch. They are crisp, tasty, and last for many days. I cut thin slices to add to turkey sandwiches. I cut thick slices, then mini-dice to add to spinach salads. I make salads with tiny diced cucumbers and diced tomatoes. Season and add tarragon. Perhaps my CA location is one where their perishable stock turns quickly. Bad product is likely where mini-cukes stock doesn’t turn quickly enough. I find the mini size is perfect to use a whole cuke at a time. 2) I do Drive Up orders only, since 2020. (Thank you, Target.) The Drive Up delivery crews at my two Target locations are superb. I always check the freshness of perishables before I leave the pick up lot. In six years, I have never needed to reject any fresh produce. Target’s Drive Up service is the best. Their delivery crews are terrific young people with positive, customer service attitudes. That does not happen without good store leadership and customer service training. I thank them for what they do on every Drive Up visit. And they know I am not just being polite. I really mean it. 3) Here is a second thank you note to Target’s Corporate management. California’s recent laws banning single-use plastic bags has been formidable, and costly to customers. On 1/1/2026, the plastic bags ban became steeper. Target Corporate planned for it, and did an amazing thing. They created a substantial, reusable, long handled, grocery-shopping tote. It is not made with plastic, so it does not require a California mandatory 10 cent fee to the customer. It does not fall apart; it is useful. It does not say Target, but the bulls eye logo is brilliant, stealth advertising for the brand. By giving it away, Target gives a few bucks back to their customers who no longer pay fees for carrying their supplies home. As I reuse my bulls eye bags, more than once I have thought: Thank you, Target. (Now THAT is priceless.)
