The lid was glued shut.
I had to pry it open with a putty knife. Upon getting it open, it looked like the heat sealer used to glue the seal on had burned the seal and some of the burned seal was stuck inside the lid. I took a photo of this but the Target app isn't permitting me to upload it because it says I can't upload a photo over 5MB even though my photo is under 1MB. Good job, Target. Great quality control all around. 👍

Lacking flavor depth, unmatchable value
I came back to review these because I absolutely love preztels. They are one of my favorite snacks. I often get a bag of our local store (Fareway) brand, and I have to say that those have more depth in flavor (as much as you can expect in a pretzel). These are just a little too flavorless. I'm not sure if it's not enough salt or the dough used to make the pretzels. The value, however, is unmatchable. Given the choice between the two though, I am going to pick my store brand or name brand.
