Description
Grow and feed your favorite succulents with Miracle-Gro® Cactus, Palm & Citrus Potting Mix. This container mix is enriched with Miracle-Gro® Plant Food and features a fast-draining formula. Get beautiful, colorful results with this mixture of forest products, sphagnum peat moss, sand, and perlite. To use, start with a pot with a drain hole and fill 1/3 full with soil. Place the root ball of your plant in the soil and add more mix. Press lightly; water the plant and let drain. Let the soil dry to the touch between waterings. Do not allow plants to sit in drainage water. Repotting citrus annually to the next larger size container will encourage fruiting. We recommend wearing gardening gloves and washing hands after using this and other garden products. One 8 qt. bag of Miracle-Gro® Cactus, Palm & Citrus Potting Soil fills two 8-inch containers (amounts may vary based on the size of the root ball).

A: Contains forest products, sphagnum peat moss, sand, perlite, fertilizer(NPK: 0.06-0.02-0.04 with part of it polymer coated for timed release of nutrients) and a wetting agent. Actual contents or ratio of contents will vary for Georgia and New Hampshire.

Unfortunately, soils may become infested with insects while in storage or while they are waiting for sale. Q: My Christmas cactus soil was very wet. It soon dried out very quickly and turned hard I can't test it. I watered it until the water ran through and took a few limp ones off. No life. Do I repot it?

In fact, I’ve used this product on other plants and have had success with them.I attribute this to switching over to this particular brand of potting mix. I have noticed the absence of water logging as well.

I also have an indoor cactus and this soil is perfect because it doesn’t hold water and stay soggy. Miracle grow isn’t expensive at all, so it’s def worth the money!

It has a nice texture to work with fine with some chunks. It has a light scent of dirt. You get a lot of potting soil in the bag.

You get a lot of soil in the package and will last you quite awhile if you are doing small pot. I am not good a planting but the instructions and to company made it easy to follow and understand that best way to plant and to get the best products from your plant. It made me realize that I was over watering my plants and that is the reason why they kept dying. I would recommend, worth the value of money spent. Texture is same as potting soil and no special scent to it.

This cactus, palm & citrus potting mix was great for reporting my small cactus. It has worked well with drainage, staying moist but not holding so much water to where it has caused any root rot. It doesn't have any off putting chemical smells, just smells like nice rich dirt and I actually didn't mind the texture on my hands. The only thing I wish I could change is a resealable package on this small bag. I didn't need the whole thing, and now have to worry about it spilling out. Over all, if that is my biggest complaint, it is something I can manage with a small bucket!
