At the end of the book there is also a glossary explaining substitutes and hard-to-find ingredients. Recipes concentrate on modern, everyday dishes that use the freshest of ingredients and are simple to create.

Simon Bajada is a chef, writer, food stylist, and food and lifestyle photographer. After 10 years working in the hospitality industry Simon turned his hand to food styling where he has contributed to more than 15 cookbooks. He moved to Sweden with his wife and son, where he has nurtured his love for food and landscape photography. Modern Nordic is the perfect pairing of his culinary and creative passions.
