Needs work
After installation the water kept turning off. Moen re-set it for learning mode but they were having technical difficulties so it took extra time to switch over to home mode. Every time I go to check the water usage I get an error message. Very frustrated

Peace of mind when I travel
I have heard so many horror stories of people who have come home to 10’s of thousands in water damage due to some silly ice maker water line, or other burst pipe. I used to travel with the same concerns. Now I have the ability to connect to my whole house water valve, view current statistics, water flow, gallons used, and more. I can set it the sensor to “Away” mode and know that if it detects anything more than the small threshold of flow that I have programmed it to allow for my ice machine, it will cut the water completely. Just to have this stress/worry off my plate when I travel (actually when I am home too), make so much difference to me. The peace of knowing all is well is worth far more than the cutoff valve costs.

Great water leaking monitoring!
After a disastrous home flooding from a broken pipe in my wall I had the Flo Smart Water Monitor installed. In the year I have had it has been excellent in alerting me about any unusual water usage. I feel very confident in the Flo Smart Water Monitor and our family feels secured that it is protecting us.

Flow and Leak Detection
I have just had the unit installed and I am waiting (Patiently) for it to learn our household water routine. When it does I will give be happy to review it again and decide whether a higher rating is deserved.

Saved us from a potential disaster
We were traveling abroad when we received the notification that the Flo smart monitor had detected an unusual amount of water usage. As a safe guard, it shut the water off. It turns out our sprinkler system had a leak. We were able to shut the sprinkler system down remotely thankfully. We would not have known about the issue without Flo and would have likely returned home to a flooded yard and an extremely high water bill!

DESPISE Flo by MOEN
DESPISE this product. Absolutely, unequivocally abhor IT! it is a great concept. Horriible execution. The app is by far one of the worst apps on the market. Zero stars, However, this review page will not allow zero stars, so I have to select 1 star, It is not worthy of 1 star. Have had Flo for 2 years. Insurance company required it. Can not wait to move just so I don’t have to deal with FLo ever again.

Good Idea,needs more research to clear up problems
I think it is a good idea,but I know you have some bugs to work out. I keep getting calls and other alerts that is telling me I have a critical problem and my water will be cut off. Unfortunately for me it is doing all of this due to a 0.1 leak running for it says 10 minutes which i wish would recognize this as a outside sprinkler system or toilet at most. I was hoping it would learn that in the fist 10-15 days. i only got this due to my insurance gave me a discount to get it. Right now I can not say i would tell any of my friends to get one of these Flo smart water monitor shutoff

Hassle
It turned off my water when I was home. Then the app would not work to turn it on. I used a.i. to help me manually turn it on. I may use more water at particular random times. I dont want it to turn off without first checking with me.

Flo makes sense as an alert for water leaks.
Good idea to alert if a water leak occurs. Also gives feedback on usage. A little annoying if you take a long shower, but easy to reset.

Love this monitor.
Easy to install. I don't have to worry even when I am on vacation. Connects to internet and can be controlled remotely.
