Q: How do I straighten out the hose? It is very stiff.

  • A: Hello Yasmin, Thank you for your question. When the hose is packaged, it is wrapped extremely tight in the package for what could be a while. The hose naturally will start to loosen up with hot water flowing through it for the showerhead, but to speed that process up you can soak the hose in near boiling water. Once the water has cooled to where you can safely submerge your hands, knead the plastic in the hose a bit to again force that stiffness away. From there, you should be able to hang the hose in your shower, where it will continue to loosen up further over time.     Not bad!

    This is amazingggg, every aspect BESIDES the tube thing being a plastic of some sort. It’s not flexible at first and will sit weird but luckily after using it a few times with warm-hot water it goes down flat. Otherwise there’s great water pressure, I like the clear part of the tube so u can see the water and The settings are great as well!

    BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

    This product is the poorest-quality and most cheaply constructed shower head I have ever acquired. It leaks severely, and the inexpensive plastic hose is excessively rigid, rendering it nearly impossible to adjust or maneuver effectively. Had I retained the original packaging, I would have returned the item without hesitation. As this was the only option available at Target, I am now compelled to purchase a functional replacement from another retailer. This purchase has been a complete waste of money, and I am thoroughly disappointed with both the product’s performance and its construction quality.

    Horrible Quality

    I’ve had this shower head less than 2 weeks and the metal connecting the hose to the shower head snapped. This caused the shower head to come off completely at the base and spray water forcefully mid-shower. Cheaply made and terrible quality. Would not recommend.

    Here for a good time, not a long time

    This was a decent shower head but the hose broke in less than a year! It exploded mid shower and got water everywhere. Water pressure was strong (we actually had very low pressure prior to this shower head)

    Don't waste tlir

    Would give zero stars if I could. Bought for guest bathroom. On second use, the metal snapped and water was spraying all over my walls and ceiling! It’s past my return window so I’m stuck with it but it’s absolutely broken after only two uses. I’ve never seen a shower head snap in half!!

    Hello, thank you for the great review of the Contour handheld showerhead. For the stiff hose, we recommend either putting the hose out in the warm sun for a while to help it become more malleable, that way you can work the material to straighten it more. You can do the same with submerging it into a hot bath and once the water cools down to safely put your hands, you can work the material as well.

    Lasted us only 6 months or so before it cracked and sprung a leak and had to be replaced. Maybe our water pressure was too much for it, but the price is fair and it was good while it lasted. Was outside the return window otherwise I would have tried to get another or money back.
