Good Shower Head, bad hose

I bought this hand held shower head to replace my old one. It came with everything that I need to easily installing it. It worked great - great pressure, nice function selections. I especially like the water saving mode - limited water comes out while I put on soap, then I can wash my hand and continue shower. Though, a month and a half after the installation, right before xmas, the hose start to leak and gush out water. It made it unusable. I called the manufacturer to see I can get a replacement hose since this is still within warranty. Until now, I still have not heard from them. In the meantime, I have to buy another replacement so I have a shower to use.
