While I liked the desk once assembled, the assembly itself was frustratingly complicated. The order of assembly is awkward, and the manufacturer seems to have taken a perverse pleasure in compiling as many steps as possible in each image, which were then shrunk to approx 4 x 6.5 in to fit two per page (to save paper?). You might want to order a magnifying glass if ordering this desk. And, because of the order of assembly, be prepared for pinched fingers along with multiple donations to the swear jar- especially if assembling single-handed. Also, instead of plugs to cover recessed screws, there are little rounds of adhesive paper with a matching grain finish. And nothing to fill the gaps. Minor detail, but annoying for its cheapness.
