About this item
Highlights
Sturdy Construction: Four steel support columns feature a scratch-resistant black powder coat finish. The result is a rigid platform outfitted with a satin finish that cleans easily and resists scratches and scuffs. Each stand is 24 inches tall and is acoustically inert.
Rectangular Columns: All four support piers can be filled with sand or steel shot for the ultimate in vibration dampening. This will further reduce any unwanted vibrations or resonances that can color the sound and reduce fidelity.
Adjustable Spikes: Each stand comes with adjustable spikes to pierce through your carpet and isolate the stand and your speaker from floor vibrations and resonances.
The Perfect Speaker Support: Acoustically inert strength and rigidity to support even the heaviest of components and devices.
Sturdy & Stylish Steel: The steel support columns bring together durability and a sleek design.

The parts are high quality and it was dead simple to put together. They look fantastic. The only con I can think of is that there was a tiny ding in the finish that I noticed while building them. It is not noticeable unless you're staring straight at it so I don't see it as a major issue. I just flipped that side to face the wall.

Another Monoprice home run. These stands are stable solid reasonably priced and easy to assemble. I added some Hudson hifi idolaters to the top and some adhesive cable management that's out of sight down the center. Very pleased with these stands!

Why pay $3-400 for Target stands when these are just as good. Sand or shot filliable, with a nice flat finish.

Excellent speaker stands I filled both tubes with aquarium gravel so there?s not any vibration. With the aquarium gravel it makes it a lot more sturdy and won?t move f it gets bumped. A 20 pound bag works well may get another one to top them off. That being said they are made very well and look great purchased some black zip ties to pull the speaker cables between the back space to secure them and keep them out of sight.

These stands are absolutely rock solid and look great. In addition, when you consider the price of other competing stands of this quality, they're a real bargain. Highly recommended.

This speaker stand is as advertised. It has a very nice appearance and is very well made. The only improvement I would suggest is to add a hole in which the speaker wire can go through the base. This would have the advantage of covering the hole in the floor where I routed the wire to my AV component. I would definitely recommend this product.

We have a few of these supporting anything from 50 to 80 lb speakers. They arrived double boxed, which was nice. These allow you to fill each stand vertical piece with ~20lbs of sand, damping resonance and adding mass for stability. You simply attach the base to an almost tight, or tight enough to now allow sand to spill out during the filling process. Turn the open top stands upright, then you stuff a funnel in the top and carefully pour the sand in. When it fills to the top, simply tap on the vertical pieces a few times to compress and settle the sand, then top everything off then tighten the top plate. The sand level will drop more than you think it will, so keep tapping until you see the sand level no longer drops. Turn the stand on its side, twist the vertical colums into place, and fully tighten the bottom plate. We've found that using 3M clear paint protection film allows you to protect your speaker from any scratches and it acts like an anti-slip surface as well. As we have experienced with all Monolith items, these are a great value for the money.

Nice stand, Good Value

The metal tubes ring when struck. I used play box sand (from Amazon) to fill mine. The sand came wet, so I had to dry it in an oven on baking sheets. The 32? stand ended up needing 25 pounds worth of the sand. That makes the stand very heavy. I used coarse crushed walnut shell (got mine from Harbor Freight) on a different stand. Much lighter, and still damped the resonances. Something I didn?t like was sand leaks out of the gap between the tubes and the base. Some type of plug on the bottom, or included bag for the sand, would be nice. Note this was not a problem with coarse walnut shell.

Nice, stout, speaker stands. Filled the vertical supports with kitty litter. The set did arrive separately over 2 days.

Greatest and best speaker stands. PERIOD. Throw away everything else you own and buy these. They even work great as a high chair if you don?t have speakers, and if you yourself identify as a speaker, they?re a great thing to sit on while you meditate. Cheers

We purchased and are using one to keep our wireless speaker a little higher. The stand shipped quickly, was packed well, and arrived in new condition. We installed the base first, then flipped it over and filled the four pillars with ~40lbs of sand before placing it against the wall. We ended up installing some felt strips on all four corners instead of using the supplied spikes as we did not want to damage our flooring. This height creates a much better sound stage for the speaker/music. The aesthetics are clean and simple. A great value considering the finish, easy-of-assembly, and how easy it was to fill with sand.

These are super sturdy material and high quality coating. Only thing that prevents a 5 star rating is lack of hard floor feet options. Only spikes don't work for everyone.

Very solid. Easy to fill with sand. My issue is the top plate is not flat. One speaker only makes contact on the 3 corners and the other doesn?t make contact in the middle. This has made my use of decoupling materials less effective.

Ordered two stands. One stand was perfect but the base of the other wasn't level. Initially I thought it was my hardwood floor, but quickly realized it was the stand. Put some rubber based packaging under the base to stop the wobble. Hopefully it will stay that way.
