There are lectern mics that offer better gain before feedback, and there are lectern mics that sound better (this one is a bit "dynamic" sounding), but they cost a LOT more money. If you can work with these short comings they are an excellent value!

I would certainly recommend these mics, they far surpassed my expectations.

We purchased 12 of these mics several months ago for a live / streaming / hybrid committee meeting. They have been used numerous times since. We've been very pleased with the performance. All 12 worked as expected out of the box. Push to talk is a great function for these type meetings, and the lighted LED ring when active provides the Chair with adequate awareness of who is wishing to speak. A very cost-effective option for quality board meeting sound.

Excellent sound, comparable to premium name brands at a fraction of the cost. Easy to use, works off phantom power or a couple of AAA batteries. The included foam pop filter helps reduce transient pops. I packed it in my laptop case with new batteries installed and they were dead when I unpacked it. I?m fairly certain the button was getting depressed. Just to be sure, I installed new batteries to do a runtime test. I powered on the mic on a Friday at 7:30PM, hoping it would go at least 5 or 6 hours. The next afternoon it was still on. I turned it on and off a few times and it was still going strong. It finally died a week later on Friday afternoon. If I were to ask for an improvement, it would be to make the light ring a switchable feature. I like it, but some clients don?t want that red ring in the shot. Just put gaffe tape over it when needed.

For the price you can?t beat this one. Condenser mic with switch and led. Works like a champ

We have a large number of these mics, and they are a super value. We typically deploy Shure MX series or AKG tabletop mics for professional situations. We had a client request a very large number of tabletop mics due to a Covid-19 streaming setup that needed a lot of people very distant. We bought more than 25 of these, and honestly, while not QUITE as good as the professional mics - the difference is easily EQd out. Feedback rejection is not QUITE as good, but really very close as well. The on/off button base stations are also great.

Purchased 10 for a conference room installation. Customer is so pleased they ordered more for another application.

This mic works very well for our baseball field's PA system. It is VERY directional, you need to speak directly at it. If you aren't going to use it for a couple of weeks, you should take the batteries out. They will run out quickly.

I have tried various different setups. this one is the best i've used for directing virtual livestreaming!

Mic looks fine and it comes with a cable and a bunch of accessories. However, the mic doesn't work. The on/off switch produces a pop in the output, but no other signal produced regardless of if powered by batteries or phantom power. I tried its cable with a Shure Beta 87a and that mic worked fine as long as phantom power was on (as expected). Plugged it back into this mic and silence except for the on/off switch popping.

So, even though I like the mic, I'm disappointed that I have to use two AAA batteries to operate it. I wanted to use Phantom power 48V to avoid the batteries. Other than that it works well.

We use lots of these for large board meetings that require interpretation. The mics allow everyone to be heard well, and the push button provides an easy way to keep mics turned off when that person is not speaking. The red light also ends up working like a "raised hand", indicating that someone would like to speak.
