Defective cable
It looked good, and well-made, but from the day-1 there is an intermittent short in the cable at the connector (and no way for me to unscrew and fix it as it is sealed). I can still use the cable if I don't move, but it is clearly defective and I can't recommend it.

Impressed (as per usual with Monoprice cables)
Very good quality for the price. I don't know if I would take it gigging but for home practice it looks like it will definitely last several years. The cloth wrapping feels high quality and not cheap and plasticy and the tips are well made with even plating and nicely heat shrinked.
