Too sticky
This velcro tape works, but is very very "grabby", which makes it less than ideal, unless you want to secure something permanently. A gentler grade of hook-and-loop would have been preferred.

I am soldier and I utlised this it to roll up the loose straps of all my backpacks, rucksacks, duffle-bags, and so on and so forth. I also used it to roll up chords and what-have-you.

2 sided roll
I thought I was buying 5 yds of hook and 5 yds of loop. This roll is 2 sided - has hook on 1 side and loop on the other. This made it 2.5 yards instead of 5yds I could have misread the description. Hope this clarifies what you are buying. Worked great, just received half the yardage I thought I was purchasing.

Great small item that was shipped in a huuuuge box
It works! It is a great product and I will probably buy more when I run out. However, Monoprice shipped this very small item in a **huge box** (breadbox sized) with nothing else but packing materials and advertisements. It seemed very wasteful and ridiculous.

It is exactly as described. I use short pieces (instead of rubber bands) to wrap around extension cords. Also useful for gathering/holding computer & TV wires or longer pieces to wrap rolls of fabrics. It has the hooks on one side of the strip and the loops on the other side of the same strip so it fastens to itself.

This is a new variation of the velcro strips I've found over the years in hardware/ hobby stores. I was confused on what the difference was, but happily found it was simpler than I imagined. I am now using it with ease and recommend it.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED
This is exactly what I needed to handle some cable runs. Multiple cables going to various computers. This was the best way to tie them down. Zip ties were too permanent and flexibility was important since cable bundles are always expanding or you're replacing a cable. I can vary the lengths as needed so that's another great thing about the velcro. The price was very good as well. They arrived quickly and let me keep to my schedule.
