I got the blue color as they were discounted. I'm a live sound engr and always prefer to have different colors for different type of cables as that makes things easier to identify. The cable is pretty much standard, and I don't need thicker cable as I normally just allocate 1 for each speaker. If you have the same preference and need like me, get the colored ones.

Nice to have different colors besides black. It?s easier to tell where each cord is connected. Next one I?ll buy will be red cord.

The cable is exactly as specified, and thanks to the color options I am able to color-code the power cables coming in to my UPS from the desktop system as well as the multiple peripherals. It makes things much easier when I want to disconnect something from power completely.

I bought this Power Cord in blue, to differentiate a Power Cord from other Power Cords of my Computer peripherals.

Bought these so the Fire Marshall wouldn't get their knickers in a wad when inspecting our church. No more daisy chaining to reach far away power outlets!

This power cord is perfectly serviceable. The only thing that keeps it from being a 5-star review is the fact that the cable itself isn't supple and super-easy to wrap. The cable has a bit of "memory". It isn't easy to remove bends that were put into the cable by the manufacturer. I use it with a guitar amp and I need to unwrap and re-wrap cords for every show. It's easier to do that with cables that are soft, supple. If you are looking for a well made cable that will remain plugged in, this is trustworthy choice. The ends seem strong and well made.

With 2 PCs and 4 monitors, the standard power cord for the 4th monitor was stretched so tight it twanged like a treble guitar string. Also, with all the black cables, it was a challenge to keep track, even when labeled. This blue cable provides a quick visual ID and the extra length is perfect.

They were just what I needed to replaced older, worn out cords with longer ones.

I chose this color for aid in cable hygiene since my office is a multiple-monitor setup and one of the cables was far too tight. It's a great cable. Does what it's supposed to.

Love it! It's short enough to eliminate unnecessary clutter in my road cases. I got them in several colors and lengths.

It looked just like the picture. But honestly, with only one color amidst all the black, it just didn’t do much. I’m hoping for cords in every color there is!

What can I say about the Monoprice Power Cord that isn't instantly obvious from the outset. It's a pwoer cord that acceptably transfers the electricity from point A to point B. They didn't ask me to review the 750W powered speakers I bought the cord alongside, they didn't ask me to review the mixer board, also purchased at the same time, not for the mics, nor the stands, not even for the cables to tie it all together. Nope, they asked me to review the power cord. Y'know, the identical ones that you have a dozen of in your storage bin. 5 Stars!
