Description
This center channel speaker matches the one in our Premium 5.1‑Channel System (PID 10565). It features a 3" polypropylene mid‑range driver, 0.75" aluminum dome tweeter, 100W power handling, and 8-ohm impedance. With a 110Hz–20kHz ±3dB response and 3.5kHz crossover, it measures 4.3" x 10.2" x 4.3" and weighs 3 lbs.

Q: Hi, I was wondering if this item is compatible with a record player/turntable?

A: Hello, thank you for your question. This is a passive speaker meaning that there is no internal amplifier built in. Therefore if you wanted to use this speaker for a record player you would need to have a stereo receiver/amplifier between the record player and this speaker. This speaker will not work alone hooked up to a record player. Hope this helps.

A: Hello and thank you for your question! No, this speaker does not come with speaker wires and it is not meant for a desktop computer unless you somehow connect the computer to a home theater receiver.

Great price, warm sound, goes anywhere
The speaker, despite appearing more compact than I had pictured it (I didn't pay a lot of mind to the dimensions given), delivered in all ways I felt it should. Surprisingly good sound for the low price.

Not good
I was very disappointed with this purchase. It was inexpensive, but so was the one I replaced it with. The one I had was a silver plastic speaker and the rest of my speakers are black, so I decided to go black. It sounds terrible, tinny, crackly and low volume. I'm going to have to retire it and go back to my silver plastic speaker after just 2 days. (I don't like giving negative reviews, but I felt I had no choice.

my old system never had a center channel, and sound wasn't clear enough. Now with my Monoprice center speaker, it's all clear, and sounds like it is supposed to. Great price for the value.

Cool small speakers with clear sound
Great match with my 8 inch Sony subwoofer and an old 70 watt Sony surround receiver and a Sony cd player. Sounds great in my chess study. You can play these little speakers pretty loud as they are rated at 100 watts. Thanks, James

Center channel speaker maybe mis-marketed.
It would not be very good as a center channel speaker because it is horizontally unbalanced with only 1 woofer/midrange and the 1 tweeter. It would need to have 2 woofer/midrange (one on each side of the tweeter). If you could get a pair of these that that the tweeter is on the left of one of the pair and on the right of the other then you could use them for 2 channels like surround left and surround right or for front high left and right. The center channel is better balanced.

Surprised me
This little guy surprised me for it's size. It delivers good clarity and spl. Obviously you will not be getting any bass response from a speaker like this, but it helps with voice clarity.

This Center channel is Crystal Clear I would recommend it to anyone strictly speaking for myself I own a Yamaha which was fine but I like this one thank you
