This speaker floor stand set is designed to let you mount your satellite speakers in an ideal location, away from a wall. The stands are height adjustable from about 26.8" to 43.3", allowing you to mount the speakers at your ear height when sitting. They can hold speakers weighing up to 5 lbs each.
The brackets mount onto speakers with a standard 1/4" x 20 mounting screw or via a keyhole mount. The stand tubes are hollow so that the speaker wires can be hidden within.

A: Thank you for your question. The opening is about 1/4", the tube itself will only accommodate standard speaker wire with out plugs on the end.

The clip that holds on the speaker is made of cheap plastic. It broke after a couple of months, rendering the speaker stands useless. Additionally, the screws that came with it didn't work with my speakers. THe speakers stands are also very wobbly and top heavy. They are proced well but for a little extra money, you can find something that is durable, sturdy and of better quality.

I searched everywhere for adjustable stands for my Minimus 7s and kept seeing these as the only option. Of course Monoprice had the best price with delivery. These stands do get the job done just know these are meant to be set up and left alone. The speaker mount is all plastic instead of metal, and the stand metal is thin. Wire can be hidden inside stand, just thread from the top. The kit includes hardware for keyhole and thread speakers mounts. Instructions are clear and assembly is easy.

Stands look great, easy to install, solid construction. Like all metal products, manufacturers package products with oil on them. Wear some gloves and wipe down the excess oil before touching anything else during your install. If you’re using the LG SPK8-S satellite speakers rear mount hole to hang them on the stand, the provided screws won’t work. The M4 (key hole screw) is too long. Go to Home Depot and pick up a shorter 3 pack of M4 x 12 (4mm x 12mm). Don’t worry about getting black screws because the plastic mount cover will hide them. Enjoy

This item seems just OK, cheaply made but the worst part it I bought these stands for Vizio Soundbar system 5.1 also from Target, is not compatible with, thinking to return it. Before you purchase make sure you can hide the speaker cables.
