This Monoprice USB4 cable has a maximum speed of 40Gbps, which is the same as that of Thunderbolt 3 and is 8 times faster than USB 3.0. Our USB4 cable is compatible with all Thunderbolt 3 and USB Type C devices, is backwards compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 devices, and supports the USB Power Delivery standard up to 100W. USB4 cables have improved bandwidth sharing between video and data signals, efficiently allocating resources as needed, and even support DisplayPort Alt Mode 2.0 for DisplayPort and PCIe protocols.
