About the Author
Ari Lightman (Pittsburgh, PA; Carnegie Mellon University) is a Professor of Digital Media and Marketing at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy. An internationally recognized expert in digital transformation and technology disruption, Ari teaches classes on data analytics and digitization, including Measuring Social, an experiential-learning class that has worked with over 120 brands, including Blizzard, Google, WarnerMedia, Mattel, Nike, Sony, Target, Microsoft and several professional sports teams.
Rafeh Masood (Miami, Florida) is the Chief Growth and Digital Officer at Royal Caribbean Group where he oversees digital, AI, data analytics, travel commerce platforms, and brand awareness efforts across the company's family of brands on initiatives related to loyalty, e-commerce, cross-selling, revenue management, and other commerce-related platforms. Previously, he was the Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer at Bed Bath & Beyond Inc., and served as Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at BJ's Wholesale Club holdings, Inc. He currently serves on the board of directors at Harley-Davidson and is an adjunct faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University.
