Hate this book. I selected it based on glowing reviews. 0/10 do not recommend. The book itself is morally questionable to say the least. And yes, the book is geared to gaining power, not to be a guiding compass on how to live life, but some people really read this with sincerity. While that plays a small part for the low rating, it’s also for the book itself. When reading this book, it almost feels like satire. Each chapter of the book is a “law” of how to gain power, but the stories are often poor examples for the rules they represent and often come to wild conclusions that would not at all be what you would think the point of the story is; it just doesn’t fit. Also, several laws contradict themselves and some are on the basis that you already have power/money/resources or that you don’t, but they aren’t in a particular order or clarified, so it feels a little tossed around. It all just feels like it’s: 1. Give a “rule” 2. Provide random anecdotal stories that rely on reader confirmation bias to make it barely make sense and pretend like that’s “evidence” 3. Repeat. I’m not impressed with this book that has gotten a lot of attention because while yes, the topic can be controversial, it just doesn’t feel well thought out and feels like it lacks actual substance. Save your money on this purchase; don’t waste your time.

I'm not cut throat. The advice is for people who have the ability and desire to be rear entries. If you want to know how to build a ladder of bodies, I'm sure this book will teach you. I stopped early on.

Book for leaders

This book is great, it’ll help you as a man become a leader in life. As you can see, there are many so called (Karens) women, that state that this books is for narcissists. In fact, they are doing what’s called reverse psychology and playing victim to this book. This is a prime example of why you must buy this book and learn the value of leadership as “they” will try to manipulate you to think otherwise, stay safe kings.

Nope.

First of all, why is this even being sold at Target? This is a gross manipulation of power and control and basically a roadmap to becoming a narcissistic sociopath. If you believe this is a guide to becoming a successful leader, I hope to God you’re never in a position of power. The only way this book can be used for good is how to point out all the traits of a giant walking red flag.

Not what I was expecting

This book came highly recommended so I made the purchase expecting good things. Once I got home I read the summary on the back cover and it just sounds like it teaches manipulation in gaining power, and that’s not what I’m looking for. I did not read the book because reading the summary was enough to know the book didn’t align with my personal values, and I will be returning the book.
